Super spooky!!!!

I liked this one a lot. It has a great storyline and wonderful characters. I was a little torn on the narrator though. Her performance is good, she has a very wide range. My only complaint is that her voice is very mature for an 18 yr old. I wish the narrator was a little more playful and bubbly like the character but overall it wasn’t bad.

Wanted to like but…

The book itself is fine. I liked the characters and the plot. I have a real hard time with the narration. I cannot stand the females narration, it just ruined the whole book for me. I wish I can unhear her voice from other books that I’ve listened to. It’s the breathy/whiny parts that are just like nails on a chalkboard to me. Sorry dnf this book via audible.

This book was sooo good. Happy sad funny gut wrenching. It was such a good storyline with great storytelling. I balled hysterically multiple times. Trigger warning Death, Loss, and trauma.

If you’re looking for spicy this is it

If you’re looking for spice this series has it.. but if you’re looking for good writing with a captivating storyline with world building and character development, this is not the series. It is a very boring read. If the scenes are not sexual it’s pretty dull. There is more effort in the descriptive sexual scenes than any other part of the story. The mfc is weak and pathetic. It’s like the author couldn’t decide if she was bad ass or a meek feeble woman. Unfortunately this was a dnf for me.

Wow, all I have to say is wow. This is an emotional one. I laughed I cried and I absolutely loved it all. The ending wrecked me but it was sooo good.

Great listen!

I found this one and decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised. I did enjoy the first couple of books but the last book was not my favorite, just seemed to drag and was quite boring. I wish the author put a little more thought into the MMC. I hated how he was always soo secretive and there wasn’t much depth to him. A little more character development would have made this book sooo much better.

Mixed feelings about this one

I gave this one a shot. I was hoping for depth, substance, and a good story line as well as the typical 🌶️🥵… the spice is fine but every time I heard “big dick” I just rolled my eyes. It was off putting and annoying. I was hoping the FMC was going to be more than just combative and naive. I was hoping for a powerful partnership with respect but it was just the MMC being annoyed and then just wanting to bang her all the time. I wanted emotion, passion, erotica, and a solid story line. There was soo much potential here but it fell short. I want to explore the world and characters especially since there are to be 6 books in the series.
