Historia
She is a fragile innocent haunted by memories of her past and by dreams of the man who once shared her secrets...the only man she can ever truly love. Now, in the icy chill of a desert storm, they must find the way back to love together - to rekindle the fire whose healing warmth has drawn them home.

I will read Elizabeth Lowell anything

Where does Desert Rain rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It's not in my top ten Elizabeth Lowell favorites.
Would you ever listen to anything by Elizabeth Lowell again?
Yes.
How could the performance have been better?
What ruins this book for me is the narrator's voice for the main character. Not only does it downplay Holly Shannon North's character, which isn't that great to begin with, but it makes listening to a "love scene" laughable. The narrator makes her sound like a twelve year old girl. I can't for the life of me understand why she'd use that tone for an adult woman.
