One of the best books ever written

This has to be one of the best books ever written. I am still reeling from it… If only we all lived lives of such adventure. And to think her story was nearly forgotten! The reader did an exceptional job capturing what I imagine to be Ms. Markham’s voice and thought. Everyone should hear this book.

Best book on audible

I’ve listened to a number of books from audible and various recording companies this has to be one of the best performed and most well written books I’ve ever heard! I loved her snappy style and ability to distill 30 centuries worth of history into a comprehensible book. You will not be disappointed!

Woman or man she read/listen to this book! It is a 30,000 ft view of history, one that maps considerable historical topography.

The Queen

I really enjoyed this account, I wasn't looking for a tell all, just a glimpse into the monarchy that we do not usually get in the United States. The Queen is even more impressive than I could have imagined.

Great for Intro or Exam Review

I'm brushing up on subjects for a comprehensive exam and this lecture served as a great refresher course. Explaining geological concepts can be tough but Dr. Ziegler did a great job!!

Great ideas

I really enjoyed listening to this book and learned a tremendous amount. I'm in engineering and can easily apply many of Ed Catmull's practices to my own work. This book certainly leads one to change entrenched practices!

Kate Mulgrew does an outstanding job in this two act play ... Listening to it I believed Katharine Hepburn really was across from me having tea. Wonderful!

Great for young and seasoned professionals

I have been a professional for 15 years and would have benefitted greatly from this early on in my career. Every gaffe mentioned I know I've made at one point or another and learned the hard way. I enjoyed it as a seasoned professional because I wanted to make sure I was perfectly polished.... Great for dotting the i's and crossing the t's!!
