Historia
Meet Jack Price and the Seven Demons: Doc, the evil mad scientist presently using Jack for sex; Rex, an explosives expert who doesn’t ask too many questions so long as something goes boom; Volodya, a Ukrainian assassin who may or may not be a cannibal; Charlie, a comic book artist with computer skills and an anarchist bent; Lucille, whose specialty is razor-edged hugs; and Jack’s predecessor, Fred, who doesn’t contribute a whole lot owing to being a severed head on a stick. Finally there’s Jack himself, former coffee magnate turned cocaine dealer turned First Demon.

Enjoy this one a lot!
Revisado: 12-14-21
This was my first time reading and listening to Allen Ivers. This was a good listen. Smooth story, bad guy easy to hate but understandable. Good dialogue between characters. Good tempo. Worth the listen!

Can’t finish
Revisado: 11-05-21
This is very difficult to listen to. Bad characters and dreadful narration. Everyone sounds like an idiot, even the main character. Had to stop when he meets the former special forces guy and they whisper-talk about how stupid they are. I don’t see how the women characters actually made it to adulthood being so stupid and innocent (but horny underneath maybe? I can’t figure it out).

A left-leaning judge liberates four of the most dangerous al-Qaeda terrorists from Guantanamo Bay and the CIA field officers track them back to Pakistan's northwest frontier mountain range. But the men vanish and rejoin the dark and mysterious forces trained by Osama bin Laden high in the Hindu Kush. These are men with hatred for the United States and Great Britain, and they are sworn to hit back at the USA, which imprisoned so many of their high command.

Excellent story!

In light of recent events this story is a great listen. I wonder if the people who wrote the negative reviews have a different opinion now that so many jailed terrorists are free and back in action in the new Afghanistan. This is a good listen and Mack Bedford is an animal!

Excellent book and excellent narration!
Revisado: 08-28-21
I can’t figure out why there are negative reviews. I get the feeling it is political, which is a real shame. I really enjoyed the flow, character development, story line and really enjoyed the narrator. Nailed a Maine accent and easily went from British to French. Well done and thanks guys. About to start book 2.
