But Eve knows there is far more to these ugly rumors than meets the eye. Addie can’t be trusted. She lies. She hurts people. She destroys lives. At least, that’s what everyone says. But nobody knows the real Addie. Nobody knows the secrets that could destroy her. And Addie will do anything to keep it quiet…

This was the most annoying book. Ever. But I still had to finish the damn thing!! It was twisty but obviously twisty. Never have read anything by her. And I won’t do another.

Revisado: 12-31-24
Narration was terrible. She was breathy and had a winey lilt in her voice. The story was so dull. I loved the other books but I also read them. Did not listen. Not sure if the author lost his way or what. 3 stars was generous.

HAPPILY SUPRISED
Revisado: 12-16-24
I was prepared to hate the narrator change, so I waited a long time before I listened. I did not feel any ill will against DJ. He was great and the story went smoothly on. But I waited too long and was having a hard time remembering who the characters were. As the book went on, Chris filled in the info for me. Good book and will continue with the series.

very very good
Revisado: 11-19-24
I do agree with people, the narration was odd at first, but now I love the guy. His delivery of Death made me laugh. Same with Fear. What a great premise for a book. The Mountain Man series is my all time fave but this grew on me big time.

Jay Snyder was so boring and dull. His voices were way over done. I loved the early Gray Man books, because Gentry had a personality. Not sure I can finish it. From now on I will buy the hardcovers for this series.

When the zombie apocalypse hits the quiet Asheville, NC, subdivision of Whispering Pines, the residents don't turn to the police or the military. Nope. They rely on their iron-fisted Home Owners Association! Which Jace Stanford and his family aren’t too keen on. Undead hordes are hard enough to deal with in a post-apocalyptic hellscape, who needs HOA fines too?

Revisado: 03-27-24
I cannot believe all the hype. This book was terrible. It was not the violence or the F bombs. I like that. Jace was annoying and the author would repeat words three times. Made it to book 4. And all the Bro’s in that made me look for the delete button.
