Very unique and original!

I was expecting a typical post apocalyptic war type book. However, it got sci-fi fairly quick and I was pleasantly surprised! It was very original and although it seemed a bit far-fetched, the more I got into the series the more I realize that maybe it’s not so far fetched.

Loved the characters and the original story line. Mr. Hale brought a variety of scenarios together in one story and it makes sense. And Mr. Bennett’s narration brought the characters to life. I recommend this series. I can’t wait for book two…

A great (non-series) book. Love the characters and the storyline. Easy to visualize all that was happening.
I see people whining about Climate Change…? This book is not about climate change. The only time it’s brought up is over conversation amongst some politician types. Lol, and that’s pretty much how it is today! Again, great storyline and obviously a lot of research was done. And love the narrator!!

I loved this series! The characters are so down to earth and the story line kept me intrigued. Keeps you thinking about “What if…?” and how to handle things just in case. Kevin Pierce brings Bobby Akart’s characters to life with his narration.

Fantastic series!

This series is filled with everything you would expect in a post apocalyptic series PLUS family, friendship, values and coming together to fight against all that is evil. The characters, and there are quite a few, are realistic and people you love or love to hate! Narrator, Kevin Pierce brings them all to life in the Audible book! The authors also share their knowledge of survival tips here and there. Highly recommend this series. I am off the read/listen to book 3 now.

Fantastic Series!!

This series was filled with excitement and adventure. And it shares in Gods word. I loved the characters and seeing them grow. I highly recommend this series and all of Mark Goodwin’s series! And Kevin Pierce is amazing as the audible narrator!
Like a good actor, you know whatever movie they’re in, it will be good. That’s how it is with Mark Goodwin’s books. You can guarantee it will be good. I can’t wait until his next series!

Awesome beginning! Can’t wait for Book 2!!

This is going to be another fantastic series! There’s such a vast variety of personalities, from good guys to bad. Book 1 has already had some great twists in it to keep you thinking. And I’m already cheering for the good guys and looking forward to seeing the path Mark Goodwin takes them! As always Kevin Pierce is phenomenal at bringing the characters to life as intended! Can’t wait for Book 2 <><
