Historia
Late one night in a dingy Los Angeles club, Nate and Cameron meet and discover they have much more in common than their love of an obscure indie band. But when Nate learns that Cameron is the heir to a soul-sucking record label - the very one that destroyed his father’s life - he runs away as fast as he can. The only evidence of their brief but intense connection is the blurry photo Cameron snaps of Nate’s Sharpied Chuck Taylors.

9 hours & 20 minutes of pure GENIUS
Revisado: 11-09-22
I listened to the whole book in ONE sitting. No breaks for anything. The narrators maybe should’ve been reversed in who was who, but it was great either way. The story was just amazing. I usually still have a bunch of unanswered questions after I finish a book, but the author did such a good job of writing the story, I actually feel pretty satisfied with the answers I got.
To put it simply, this was a really good listen. Well worth the credit and the time.

Great Performance
Revisado: 06-25-20
This book was real and raw. I overall loved the story and how much pain you could hear in the narrator's voice. It made me emotional at times, and I had to pause it occasionally to get a grip on myself.

Historia
When news reports start appearing of a zombie outbreak in Ireland, B's racist father thinks it's a joke - but even if it isn't, he figures, it's ok to lose a few Micks. B doesn't fully buy into Dad's racism, but figures it's easier to go along with it than to risk the fights and abuse that will surely follow sticking up for Muslims, blacks, or immigrants. And when dodging his fists doesn't work, B doesn't hesitate to take the piss out of kids at school with a few slaps or cruel remarks. That is, until zombies attack the school.

Words cannot explain how great this book is. It makes you feel things you didn't know you could just from an audiobook. The narrator did an amazing job, and I actually had to check if this was his memoir. If you have doubts about getting The Rules of Survival, trust me when I say you won't regret it.

Captivating!!
Revisado: 12-26-19
I loved the narration as much as the storyline!! This book was filled with fear, love, and pain. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any more interesting, it did. I highly recommend it.
This narrator conveyed each character’s emotions perfectly.
