Historia
The City of Inventions, Pallass, is a fascinating place. Filled with all kinds of oddballs from the named-rank [Alchemist], Saliss of Lights, to Grimalkin the [Sinew Magus], a drunken Dwarven master [Blacksmith], to Chaldion, to... Wyverns? Erin Solstice is on a break from her inn. Not for long; she's returning with more Skills, but she has changed. She will return with her usual chaos and wonder, but always differently. Now, there are flames and... a garden?

Almost decided I was tiring of the Wandering Inn - almost...
Revisado: 04-29-25
It started out like reruns of prior books, dwelving on characters that I find boring. Mid-book I was once again hooked and the ending has left me upset that I have to wait for the next release.

Historia
Loch Ness holds secrets, ancient and deadly. Does a monster inhabit its depths, or is it just myth? Why, after thousands of reported sightings and dozens of expeditions, is there still no hard evidence? Marine biologist Zachary Wallace knows, but the shock of his near-drowning as a child on Loch Ness have buried all memories of the incident. Now, a near-death experience suffered while on expedition in the Sargasso Sea has caused these long-forgotten memories to resurface.

Interesting Story - Worth The Credit
Revisado: 04-07-25
I enjoyed the book, though the constant "left brain / right brain" thing got tiring. I liked some the historical references at the beginning of chapters but could have had less Nessie siting reports.

Hope they make the movie. Would love to see the visual. Haymitch's bitterness is clear now.

Historia
Twenty-five years ago, Maggie Holt and her parents, Ewan and Jess, moved into Baneberry Hall, a rambling Victorian estate in the Vermont woods. Three weeks later they fled in the dead of night, an ordeal Ewan later recounted in a nonfiction book called House of Horrors. His horror memoir of ghostly happenings and encounters with malevolent spirits became a worldwide phenomenon, rivaling The Amityville Horror in popularity — and skepticism.

Didn't See That Coming
Revisado: 03-13-25
Did not see this ending coming at all. Multiple twists throughout the story. Scary? Not really. More suspenseful I guess. It was okay and I guess worth the credit.

Not Yet Sure
Revisado: 02-22-25
I have always been an interested believer in the supernatural and metaphysical. I do believe Nostradamus could see the future and wrote his visions in nonsensical quatrains due to the inquisition. I do not think the modern interpretations are always correct - I think it is man's nature to read into things that what they want to see. I began an interest in Dolores Cannon years ago when trying to find different avenues to investigate my interests in the odd. I would have loved being the subject of one of her regression hypnosis sessions because I believe I had a childhood trauma that has erased much of my memory as a child and I've always wanted to know what it could have been. With this book, I wanted to be open minded and, on most part succeeded. I could except regression hypnosis to speak with people in the past but to be able to talk to Nostradamus for years like he was alive in the other room about things that were happening currently in a country he didn't know seemed to push my boundaries. I'm torn on the reading of the quatrains first in the original French by a person who admitted not knowing the language - the narrator read it too smoothly and the intonations were too melodical. It sounded beautiful but only served to make the book longer. I finished volume one and had some enjoyment but I don't think I'll move into the other volumes.

Historia
England, 1914. The world is at war. Captain Hastings, injured and shaken, is invited to Styles Court to recover. It’s a grand old country house - the family home of his old friend - and a perfect haven. Or so it seems. But in the blistering summer heat, trouble is afoot. Simmering tensions are tearing the family apart, and it all comes to a head in the most horrifying way.

Annoying Sound Effects
Revisado: 02-14-25
Decent story. I'm not a fan of dramatizations - sound effects too loud but worse is conversations behind closed doors - suddenly everything gets quiet and muffled and I couldn't understand what was said. Typical Agatha, everyone is a suspect at one time or other. Hastings, however, needs to find a career outside of detective work after the war - he's not very good.

Historia
Ashley Perrin is fresh out of college and starting a job as a community liaison for the Third District–the city’s only sector with more alien residents than humans. Ashley’s barely found where the paper clips are kept when she’s beset with constituent complaints–from too much noise at the Annual Lupidian Celebration Parade to a trip-and-fall chicken to a very particular type of alien hornet that threatens the very city itself. And if that’s not terrifying enough, Ashley is next up at the office karaoke night.

Hair Fetishes & Poop Jokes
Revisado: 02-09-25
Basically 2 hours of hair and poop jokes. Maybe I'm just too old to appreciate them. I've always associated poop joke afficianatos to teenage boys. On the plus side, I made it to the end but just found the storyline to be a bit lame and uninteresting. A second plus was that it was free and I did not waste money or a credit on it. I did like the sarcasm written into the main characters lines and the way she was portrayed by the narrator.

The ending ... eh
Revisado: 02-07-25
First off, I really enjoy Jeremy Robinson's books. They are always exciting down to the final word. This was a great purchase - 3 books for one credit and written by a good author. This had me riveted to the end, but, really this is how mankind survives an apocalypse? The ending was just a little unbelievable even for this big-time fantasy enthusiast but I still recommend the read and give it top marks.

Not my cup of tea
Revisado: 02-07-25
I have tried these performances before, so I should remember I don't care for the loud sound effects that are hoping to deaden your hearing to the point you can no longer hear how bad the story and performances really are. It was free... it was only a little over an hour of my life... and still I could not make it to the end of this story. I gave it two stars because they tried to produce excitement and suspense but I was being generous.

Love This Collection
Revisado: 12-09-24
After 14 books, what more can I say? I love this series. I love the narrator. I love most of the characters. I cried huge tears during the battle when an antinium anguished over a teammate he loved and did not want to lose. Every word draws me further into this strange fantastical world.
