Frustrating narration volume

I typically listen while driving and half the time the male narrator goes down to a whisper or talking under his breath and I can hear nothing, then all of the sudden is too loud. Very frustrating! It did seem to get a little better in the last half of the book.

Perfect story to listen to

Great story and very well narrated. Glad I chose this book to listen to on audible as opposed to reading it on my own. It really did bring a lot to the overall story for me.

Just could not get into this one. Tried hanging in there to see if the story would capture my attention as it moved along, but couldn’t get into it. Listened to the Grisha trilogy prior to this one as recommended, which was great, but this book is slow and uninteresting in comparison.
