Historia
After nearly eighteen months at Basgiath War College, Violet Sorrengail knows there’s no more time for lessons. No more time for uncertainty. Because the battle has truly begun, and with enemies closing in from outside their walls and within their ranks, it’s impossible to know who to trust. Now Violet must journey beyond the failing Aretian wards to seek allies from unfamiliar lands to stand with Navarre. The trip will test every bit of her wit, luck, and strength, but she will do anything to save what she loves—her dragons, her family, her home, and him.

Love this story…..
Revisado: 03-26-25
I have listened to all three on Audiobooks. I have enjoyed them, but I do agree that having almost all of the characters in one voice is a bit confusing. It makes the others harder to remember. Especially when waiting for the next book. I do appreciate that in the third book it changes, yet it was halfway through.?. All that aside I will need the next book right away!

The witches of Scotland, series
Revisado: 03-08-25
I love these books. The details and characters were very interesting, and the story line was very interesting as well. It’s different than anything that I have read about witches before. It’s almost like it’s present day, then fantasy witch stories. Very interesting, it kept me waiting more story.

Draws you in and holds you.
Revisado: 01-17-24
I did not think it the story was going to turn into time travel. It was a very interesting angle on the story line. I enjoyed the book a lot. It made me think about my brothers that have died, and what I would give to have a chance to be with them again.

Hard to think about
Revisado: 09-22-23
Very Steven King, but so very yucky to think about. Ant sometimes frustratingly slow on the pick up of the clues. It was so small town and big city at the same time.

Full of emotion
Revisado: 08-04-23
Striking the way Higgins can write emotions. The good and the bad. One minute your uncomfortable and the next crying and happy. Great read.
