Historia
The Mojave Desert: The History and Legacy of North America’s Most Famous Desert explores the development of the Mojave from its formative years to the heterogeneous tract of land it is today. It also examines the native tribes who inhabited it and their complex relationships with the foreign explorers who traversed their territories. The book also dives into the desert's literal golden era and takes a tour through the desert's fabled Death Valley.

The narrator whistles
Revisado: 10-13-21
Why would someone put out a narration where the narrator whistles on ever S he says? Some passages sound like a basketball game. Is there someway to make that less noticeable? It’s very distracting.

Historia
Lane Warner is used to being overshadowed and overlooked. After all, he's the youngest brother and the most laid back one in the family. He's the one known for going with the flow and not making waves, even when things seem to be at their worst. Very few things in life have had the ability to rile Lane up and get under his skin. At the top of that list is his childhood friend Brynn Fox...no...Brynn Warner. The fact that they share a last name was the one thing that has the power to light him up and spin him out of control like no other.

Good story with flawed details
Revisado: 06-28-18
I’ve read a lot of Jay Crownover’s stuff ( or listened to really!) she’s a great author and the plot of this story is no exception. However, as a Northern California girl I was distracted by the apparent lack of knowledge about my part of the state. I still recommend the book but I also recommend a good long visit to Nor Cal.

Love love loved it!

Where does Nash rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Nash is my favorite book of this series! It's probably my favorite book to listen to. I'm listening to it for the third time.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Nash?
The whole this is great. The first time I heard it, it broke my heart! Misunderstanding drives this awesome couple apart and it's sad.
What does Paula Costello and Tad Branson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I feel their voices are perfect for Nash and Saint.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Again, this couple had it rough to begin with. Add in a seemingly compromising situation with a sexy neighbor and heartbreak ensues. Neither Nash nor Saint is unaffected. You would swear it's the end for these two. Over before it began.
Any additional comments?
This entire Marked Men series is amazing. You feel like you've gotten to know each member of this crazy tattooed "family". I accident listened to Nash first. Not knowing it was part of a series. It stands alone, but as part of the whole it's even better. I recommend the entire series. Rule, Jet, Roam, Nash, and Rowdy are all amazingly well write, sexy, and thoughtful. I can't wait for Asa.
