Historia
I’m desperate to resign from the Werewolf Treaty Federation aka WTF. Don’t judge. I didn’t name this crew of misfit Shifters so hear me out. After investigating a deadly Jazz Cabbage outbreak, I discover we need a necromancing demon to help solve the crime. My gay vampyre BFF, Dwayne, dated one of these gems several decades ago. Seems all we need to do is summon his evil butt into this plane of existence and poof, crisis solved. The question is, can we bring him back without causing a flesh-eating, end-of-the-world zombie apocalypse?

Don't Bother
Revisado: 12-17-22
A waste of time. The author seems to think if you insert an over abundance of curseing and juvenile talk about breast and pienis no one will notice they can't write. The basic premise is fine, but it's lost in the sophomoric attempt at humor.

Historia
Minalan gave up a promising career as a professional warmage to live the quiet life of a village spellmonger in the remote mountain valley of Boval. It was a peaceful, beautiful little fief, far from the dangerous feudal petty squabbles of the Five Duchies, on the world of Callidore. There were cows. Lots of cows. And cheese. For six months things went well: He found a quaint little shop, he befriended the local lord, the village folk loved him, he found a sharp young apprentice to help out, and, best yet, he met a comely young widow with the prettiest eyes.

Good Read/listen
Revisado: 10-24-22
Enjoyed completely, this is my first time reading this author but not my last. While there is lots of killing there is very little gore, and I loved
the humor. The story line is interesting and maintains your interest, weaving the curator's together and showing their relationship to one
another. I also loved the humor. I will be getting the next book in this series. They could not have picked a better Narrator, John Lee's
reading is just right, both his tone and timing.

Historia
In her lively social history of American women and aging, acclaimed New York Times columnist Gail Collins illustrates the ways in which age is an arbitrary concept that has swung back and forth over the centuries. From Plymouth Rock (when a woman was considered marriageable if "civil and under fifty years of age"), to a few generations later, when they were quietly retired to elderdom once they had passed the optimum age for reproduction, to recent decades, American attitudes towards age have been a moving target.

This is a book I will listen/read again and again. It's full of so much womens' history and our countries history that its impossible to absorb in one reading/listening. The Narrator is first class, a joy to listen too.

Historia
Pediatrician Kent Abner received the package on a beautiful April morning. Inside was a cheap trinket, a golden egg that could be opened into two halves. When he pried it apart, highly toxic airborne fumes entered his body - and killed him. After Eve Dallas calls the hazmat team - and undergoes testing to reassure both her and her husband that she hasn’t been exposed - it’s time to look into Dr. Abner’s past and relationships. Not every victim Eve encounters is an angel, but it seems that Abner came pretty close.

Don't Miss a Wonderful Read
Revisado: 04-30-22
After listening to Berlin Song, I want and will obtain the other two books in the series. This story is a can't put down, it shows the conflict of beliefs and there consequence's. It also shows how the echoes of our history both personal and global affect our present and future. The characters are fully formed and compelling.

Revisado: 10-09-21
Loved it. Will listen/read again. The lead character was very believable far more true to life then many such characters. One thing that bothered me was the back and forth to Easterner Washington from Seattle as if they are close in proximity, I find this in other books as well (just a pet peeve). The story was engrossing and well developed I will be looking for more books by this author. I felt the narrator was perfect for this story, she held my interest with her able narration. I

Historia
Dorothy Hare, the dutiful daughter of a rector in Suffolk, spends her days performing good works and cultivating good thoughts, pricking her arm with a pin when a bad thought arises. She does her best to reconcile her father’s fanciful view of his position in the world with such realities as the butcher’s bill. But even Dorothy’s strength has its limits, and one night, as she works feverishly on costumes for the church-school play, she blacks out. When she comes to, she finds herself on a London street, clad in a sleazy dress and unaware of her identity.
