I mean, let’s be honest….this is basically a fantasy romance! If you set aside the actual probability of this happening ….its a fun read! I’ll always give Pam props for going where most won’t!!

This was really cheesy and juvenile! I couldn’t even finish! The heroine was a brat and it made no sense for people to be so obsessed with her.

Frustrating

I really liked the first book in this series. This one was just okay. The lack of communication and back and forth feelings of both characters felt almost juvenile. I don’t mind the miscommunication trope when it’s done right but this was just the same conflict over and over like a broken record throughout the entire book!! The narrator was great though!

Good Story

This was a good story and I was definitely entertained. I know the endgame is an enemy to lovers story but it’s hard to believe anyone would want the hero of the story. He’s a complete idiot and isn’t portrayed as anyone I’d root for the heroine to end up with. The heroine is badass, smart, loyal…etc. so it’s just hard for me to want them to end up together!!

I’ve been loving this series and was excited to continue but man these narrators are so so so bad. I’m new to the series so I’ve been listening back to back so it really kills the story to switch narrators so late in the series. (especially bad narrators) I heard that the original narrators were now too expensive so I say lets start a goFundMe for them. Seriously so sad to ruin the series this way! Just dont make the audiobook at all if its going to be this bad!!!

Insta-lust

If you are a fan of zero character development for a supposed enemy to lovers plot…this is your story. I don’t really like insta-lust so I’m probably not the best judge for this one! They went from hate (for no real obvious reasons) to lust and you are mine vibes (for no obvious reason again)…..just meh to me.

Redemption!!!

I am a HUGE JLA fan and I love this series and the Blood & Ash series! The last book was tough to get through and it was the first book of hers that I didn’t give a high rating. This book was a complete redemption and makes me so excited for the remaining Blood & Ash books!

I really liked the first book but this one wasn’t very good. The writing seemed really juvenile to me. The constant back and forth between them was just eye rolling and got very tedious. There was no plot movement and I felt like the character development went into a negative direction.

The narrator was really bad at the male character and the narrative itself was very childish. The female heroine was supposed to be bad ass but came across more as a bratty child to me. I won’t continue in this series.
