I love reading about the Yankees, and this was indeed a well-written tome, however the narrator's constant "quote/unquote" drove me to distraction -;to the point where I stopped listening

What made the experience of listening to Sherlock Holmes the most enjoyable?
I’ve listened to a couple of other Sherlock Holmes compendiums on Audible. Both were excellent. This one is the best.
What did you like best about this story?
The narration was awesome!
What about Stephen Fry’s performance did you like?
Of the 3 interpretations I’ve heard on Audible, this one is clearly the best! Stephen Fry IS Sherlock Holmes! I am familiar with a few narrators at Audible (I am, for instance, quite fond of Charles Stranssky). Stephen Fry’s narration is superb!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Living in Canada and never having been to the Materland, I am unfamiliar with the pop culture zeitgeist of Europe. I understand that Stephen Fry is a well-known media personality in Britain. I can see why!
