How Jack Carr can ratchet up from again and again I have no idea, but Only the Dead may be his best work. A great feat considering how good the prior 5 books in this series have been.
This is a "can't stop," "keep you up," "action packed" story that is filled with information that might just fill you with some of the rage that fuels the antagonist, James Reese. There are twists, turns and surprises. There is lots of gear modern and historic. And, there is noon stop action!
The production and reading/voice acting by Ray Porter is unparalleled and maked me feel like I was in the thick of the action. I have greatly enjoyed reading all of Jack Carr's books but the Audible versions are a very special experience that shield not be missed.

Jack Carr's story lines stee riding and believable. I love his character development and, once again, can't wait for the next book.
I too am a gear, gun and technique snob and I'm impressed by the detail. just another level to love in a Jack Carr book.
