If the individual followers of today's modern Church would emulate their radical faith, hope, love, and peace our world would truly be fragrant with the "aroma of Christ".

Actually I posted this as my review on another podcast. Sorry for the repetition but…
Alistair answered one question -asked by one person - given a certain set of circumstances
Alistair did not set a moral standard.
Alistair did not create a doctrine.
Alistair did not give instructions to the church.
Alistair did clarify the details
Alistair did obtain the facts.
Alistair did suggest a response that supported biblical action: your grandson knows you don’t agree - your grandson knows you hate what he is doing – your grandson knows you are not celebrating his actions and choices – your grandson does see you love him!
Well done Alistair!

Perhaps the speaker is a little hyped but he is right.
Alistair answered one question - asked by one person- given a certain set of circumstances

To everything there is a season…

This book has truly come at the right season for me. The hymns chosen - some familiar friends, others still to be wrapped in my heart - covered life’s journey. The devotional with each hymn was rich and encouraging, bringing wise instruction from the authors life and the honest experiences of others. The love, commitment and, can I add sacrifice, of Joni to read and sing each one, brought a greater depth of understanding. Written by those who knew sorrow and suffering-read by one whose daily walk is wrapped in suffering - for those of us who are learning to find the joy, the intimacy of relationship with Jesus in our suffering and seek out the blessings to pass on…well, I can only say my heart, my outlook has shifted even more. Thank You Jesus! God’s continued blessing on you and Ken, Joni. Can’t wait to meet you both.
