This was the type of fantasy I can get behind! But don’t read it if you’re one of those people that can’t stand quirky FMCs. And if you’re a fantasy snob, don’t read this bc you’ll just b!tch about it, I already know lol but if you’re like me and need world building you can understand easily, and enjoy time travel—highly suggest! I knocked a star bc I personally would’ve preferred more groveling. And it’s actually enemies to lovers and a slow af burn!

Also, I did the audiobook for this and kudos to the narrator, she did a great job giving each character their own distinct sound, and she made the perfect Barbie voice IMO!

This story is basically crack, and I am now a crack head.

When I say I am stressed af for the last book, I am not exaggerating lol

As with the first two, the audio for this was chefs kiss and the only thing that would make it better at this point is there were a graphic audio version!

Stressed is an understatement

I can’t stress how perfect these audiobooks are! I feel like after I’m done with these, all others will be mid at best bc how do you beat a full cast in duet form? You can’t.

The actual story has me stressed af tho and you can’t stop in between books, gotta immediately move on—especially if cliffhangers drive you nuts.

I’m eager to see the rest play out so that my heart rate can finally regulate itself. Just start the series already, do it!

Griz is perfection!

I absolutely eat up anything Anna Fury writes, so obviously I had a great time with this one as well; but, out of all the fmc’s written by Anna that I’ve met so far, Jude has gotta be my least favorite.

I’m just gonna say it—she didn’t deserve Griz!!!
I don’t care that she’s been trying to reach a breakthrough for the past three years, keeping that to herself for so long was selfish. The keeping things a secret probably hurt Griz more than the secret itself. But, he is perfect so of course he would still forgive her! 😭😭

Aside from that, the audiobook was another banger of a production, AND it’s Duet—what else could you ask for? The narrators throughout this entire series have been perfectly paired with their characters, and I definitely recommend eyeball reading along with the audio for the best experience!

Oh Samson!

This one gave beauty and the beast but make it dystopian, with lots of slick and knots 😌
We first met Penelope in book 1, when she’s introduced as Mal’s best friend and an ER Nurse. She in understandably concerned for her friend and decides to track her down and make sure she is alive and ok.

That leads her to the alpha compound..the place where omega sex dreams come true apparently lol. Samson is our super hot and tortured alpha hero. Ever since his awakening, he seemed to be the only alpha still experiencing the symptoms which all other alphas only experience in the beginning of their transition; and they can’t seem to figure out why. Enter Penelope.

They have an instant connection, but their circumstances prevent them from acting on this undeniable chemistry and unexplainable feelings. They find themselves fighting a battle to protect not only their pack, but their fate as well.

The found family is one of the highlights of this series for me. The possessive alphas and strong and fearless omegas are the icing on the cake. Did I mention the steam is top tier!

I highly recommend reading along with the audio! The narrators are excellent and it just makes the overall reading experience so much more enjoyable! I can’t wait to catch up on the rest of Anna’s work because I am definitely a fan!!

Another banger!

I know it's only book 2 in the series and I haven't finished the rest, but so far Luna & Titan are my favorite couple!
Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, without question! The angst--the tension! Anna knows what she's doing, and I just know the rest of the series will be just as good.

There is definitely an ongoing plot throughout the series, so you'll want to start with book one for the best experience.
And rest assured, Anna does not skimp on the spice! She knows exactly what her readers want when it comes to possessive and protective alpha males with dirty mouths!

As with every audiobook I've listened to from Anna Fury, the production is excellent, and the narrators bring these characters to life! Tor Thom does not get talked about enough--his voice is was basically made to narrate Alpha characters and I think more readers need him in their ears!

Can't wait to continue with this series and finally get to the Temple Maze series because I have a feeling that those will be my favorites!!

Suspenseful and hot!!

No one writes an alpha quite like Anna Fury. She somehow finds the perfect balance between primal alpha and consent king. Stone is the perfect example! He is all big burly alpha, but also is supportive of his mate's position as mayor, honors her boundaries, AND stands 10 toes down for all of the Omegas in his pack--their safety and comfort are his biggest concerns.

I read this via audiobook and I gotta say, the narrators were honestly perfection. You can just picture a massive alpha when you hear Sebastian York's performance of Stone--I really couldn't have chosen a better narrator. Shammen McCune's performance of Erin was just as fitting. Her voice just feels authoritative and sultry, which is just what I imagine reading Erin's dialogue.

Overall, this was super suspenseful and hot!! Anna does not skimp on the steam! I found myself blushing several times--and I've read a ton of smut lol. Second chance is one of my favorite tropes, and it was executed so well in this story. The physical attraction never skipped a beat over the years, and the pining! Stone just couldn't replicate the way he felt about Erin with anyone else. They really had to learn how to approach the obstacles in their rekindled relationship head-on, and they were mature and communicative, which I appreciated.

I'm excited for Titan and Luna's story next, and I can't recommend picking up this series on audio enough!

Epic Married in Vegas!

This book was simply just the BEST TIME!!
This was my first Trilina Pucci read and now I have to go back and read Tangled in Tinsel because I love this group of girlfriends/sisters and need to know all their stories!

Crew was..wow, where can I get me one of those?! He is the hot quarterback of every girl's dream. A big heart, big wallet, and a big (fill in the blank!). Then we have Eleanor, the funny, spontaneous, self-assured girl we all wanna be besties with. They really did make such a hot couple and their chemistry was off the charts!

I read this via audiobook, and it was hands down, epic! A full cast of narrators and duet style--couldn't ask for a better set up. In my personal opinion, a smutty book can turn really corny via audio if it's not done well..and finding the right narrators is key; but, this was hotter than hot!! It didn't come off as cringey whatsoever..in fact, it had me blushing as if it were my first time hearing some of those dirty words!

Very rarely can a book successfully transition from smut, to comedy, back to smut, to sweet and heartwarming..but somehow Trilina achieves that, and I am now a fan. The hype is real with this author, and this is such a fun read..perfect for getting out of a book slump or picking up when you need a good laugh. Plus, it starts off with those why-choose vibes, but ultimately ends with a M/F pair, so you sort of get the best of both worlds!

If you haven't read this one, I HIGHLY suggest picking up the audiobook..it's definitely worth one of your audible credits because it can easily become a summertime re-read. Would absolutely recommend!
