Good story and well read
Revisado: 12-19-24
Great setting at a camp in the Adirondack Mountains. Thoroughly enjoyed the story. Took a little too long for progress, but had a satisfying ending

Lots of potential but rushed ending ruins it
Revisado: 10-03-22
I really enjoyed most of this book. It was a time and place I was unfamiliar with. The characters were interesting as was the setting. Unfortunately, for some reason, the ending was rushed and unsatisfying. It could have easily gone on for 2 -3 more hours to actually write about things that were alluded to but never fleshed out. The ending was incredibly disappointing. Such a surprise for a book with so much promise. The upside is the reader is outstanding. I was completely immersed in each character- she did an amazing job of bringing each one to life uniquely.

Outstanding story
Revisado: 08-19-21
Such a great story. Every chapter has a hook. Took me a little while to get used to the performance - it seemed too old and overly dramatic at first - but I finally settled in to the reader’s rhythm and ultimately enjoyed it. Two thumbs way up for this. I was so sorry to get to the end.

Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

Not a fan
Revisado: 05-21-15
Not a character to care about. Unnecessary contrivances, I don't understand why this one has been on the best seller list at all, let alone for so long
