I’m glad I came across this. I am a fan of westerns and this was a good one! Very well written. Reminded me of the classic western tales, while still feeling very original. Excellent voice for the story and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

First off, Micah Mason puts in an amazing performance once again. His voice and skill were made for this story. That said, I can not express how much I am enjoying this series. This is more than western horror at its absolute best(and it is that), this is historical fiction and storytelling at its finest. J.R. White has created a hero and world within history that feels so real, one can’t help but get drawn in. I am truly grateful as a reader to have found this author and this series.
To Mr. White…thank you, and please please please keep on writing!! To everyone else, enjoy the ride!

Very well written story with perfect pacing. Never once did I feel bored. All three books were full of interesting characters in an interesting world, and the hero was fun to root for!

Fifth element meets Enter the Dragon. I’m surprised this hasn’t been tapped for a mini series. Highly recommend.

Another exciting chapter for Asher!

I am a huge fan of the whole series, but this one takes the cake. Even if I had never heard the Echoes Saga, or the Ranger Chronicles, this one novel could stand alone as one of my favorite fantasy stories. For long time fans of Asher, this will satisfy and be a perfect lead into the Echoes books!
If you’re a fan of great action, great fantasy and a great hero, don’t hesitate to pick this one up!!

I discovered this podcast through an interview with the creator. I must say, I am even more impressed with and addicted to this story than i could have expected. This is such and original concept! i highly recommend this, especially for old school gamers and fantasy geeks!
