Outstanding

This was a great listen. If you have watched Wentworth on Netflix then you would be familiar with a couple of the cast members. Just like the tv show, this podcast was amazing and the writers have perfected how to keep you on the edge of your seat.

What a great book!
Revisado: 11-01-17
Charlie Daniels is one of the greatest musical story tellers ever. His music has always been sincere, honest, and fun to listen to. That is exactly how I would describe this book. It was fun to hear Charlie's insights on the music industry, song writing, America, and the troops.
if you like CDB's music, or if you just want to listen to a memoir that is insightful, encouraging, and motivational then look no further. I would give 10 stars if I could!!

Historia
Rick Ankiel had the talent to be one of the best pitchers ever. Then, one day, he lost it. The Phenomenon is the story of how St. Louis Cardinals prodigy Rick Ankiel lost his once-in-a-generation ability to pitch - not due to an injury or a bolt of lightning, but a mysterious anxiety condition widely known as "the Yips". It came without warning, in the middle of a playoff game, with millions of people watching. And it has never gone away.

Great story

I really enjoyed this book and hearing the story from Rick's perspective. I always wondered what he must have been feeling and he is very honest about it. It's great that Rick has been able to use his experiences to help young ballplayers. Very inspiring. Go NATS!

One of the best

Whether you are interested in baseball, civil rights, or the faith of Jackie Robinson there is plenty of that in this book. It also is a great love story of Jackie and Rachel. This is bound to be one of the new classics.

Very good book, very insightful
Revisado: 05-02-16
Great book, Senator, thanks for keeping it 100. I recently did a Kairos weekend and have been interested about the life of a resident after I left. This book was very honest, and interesting and had some practical observations on how to improve the system. Lots of people forget about these people, but Mr. Smith does a great job in showing that in alot of ways they are regular people that made mistakes in life, and that we all are 1bad choice away from being there ourselves.. I do wonder though if he ate the Meat rock...

Very Interesting insight
Revisado: 01-05-16
I found this to be a very good book. Scientology is one of the things you hear a lot about, but you only what they want you to know. I must say that some of the things did not surprise me, but yet it was fascinating to hear what goes on behind closed doors and the money grab it is.
Leah did a great job in narrating and was much like the way we know her through her character on King of Queens, a great sense of humor and timing, but yet also willing to show emotion through her voice. I would listen to any book she narrates because I know she would make it interesting.

Historia
This intimate story of Lynyrd Skynyrd tells how a band of lost souls and self-destructive misfits, with uncertain artistic objectives, clawed their way to the top of the rock 'n' roll world. It also offers a greater appreciation for a band whose legacy, in the aftermath of their last plane ride, has since descended into self-caricature.
