Historia
Something dark is lurking in the Louisiana bayou: a methodical killer with a penchant for medical experimentation is hard at work completing his most harrowing crime yet, taunting the authorities who desperately try to catch up. But forensic pathologist Dr. Wren Muller is the best there is. Armed with an encyclopedic knowledge of historical crimes, and years of experience working in the Medical Examiner's office, she's never encountered a case she couldn't solve. Until now.

Historia
The Adirondack region of New York's rural North Country forms the nation's largest State Park, with a territory as large as Vermont. Planning experts view the APA as a triumph of sustainability that balances human activity with the preservation of wild ecosystems. The truth isn't as pretty. The story of the APA, told here for the first time, is a complex, troubled tale of political dueling and communities pushed to the brink of violence.

What I knew from reading this book.
Revisado: 08-14-22
After reading this book, it was hard to know where to be. I agreed with the first side to keep the park all wilderness, but at the same time, I agreed with the other side to keep houses, camps, and historical structures, not just to live there, but to remember it's purpose in history. Again it was hard to know where to be. All I know is that there had been no looks, and there was no blame, there was only the confusion of a people not being able to predict the future.
