Historia
At twenty-one, Ason ‘Ace’ Williams Jr. knows all about inevitable endings. He’s formerly famous, a popular rapper’s muse, the son of a three-time NBA champ, and a little… complicated. After a disturbing scandal and loss rocks his world, he’s left to deal with both in a city that doesn’t quite feel like home. It’s a place filled with old family friends he’s never met, reminders of all the endings he’s had to endure, and even worse—he’s stuck there after his dad takes a job no one ever imagined him taking.

Fresh and Good
Revisado: 01-26-24
I’ve read many books on Audible over the past 6 years and this goes in my top 5 so far. Of course with the help of my favorite narration duo! The story had like qualities of other stories but told in such a perspective that captivated me from beginning to end! I truly enjoyed it! Looking forward to what this author can publish in the future or even what they’ve done in the past! Bravo!

She's from a lakeside suburb, padded by two parents, an overindulgent godmother, and all the amenities of affluence they can provide her. But that's not enough. Kennedi wants to experience the full benefits of her femininity at the tender age of 21, a task she takes on at college, and one she’s more than determined to fulfill.

Give it a chance! It's AMAZING series!
Revisado: 03-22-23
I've read all three books and decided to write another review for the first one because I believe Myles is getting bad reviews for narration. I personally feel you need to get to know the character so you can better connect the voice making Myles the perfect voice for the male in this series. He truly reminds me of Nas the rapper which makes even more sense because the character relates a lot to him as well.
Also, remember this is three stories everyone will eventually fall as well as evolve in some way but they all do it on their on time. Go through the entire journey as it will be worth it.

Journey the conclusion to Love Belvin’s riveting “Wayward Love” series, and see how errant the path to Isaak and Kennedi’s happily ever after is. What is a perfect love story? Does it not include disappointment, betrayal, distractions, guilt, and anger?

This was an amazing series!
Revisado: 03-22-23
The story was so sweet and I enjoyed it. The writer is defiantly gifted and I have become a true fan. I truly believe she has movie/short series-worthy novels.
Pros:
The narrators - I absolutely loved both narrators and for someone who is a huge Jakobi Diem fan along with Emmanuel Ingram and Winston James, I felt like Myles was a perfect fit for the male character. His voice reminded me a lot of Nas the rapper and Myles's temperament when reading for the character brought it full circle as the character had so many similarities to the rapper so it was easy to envision and understand his voice. Wesligh Siobhan - per usual she's just beyond sublime.
Literature - I enjoyed the new vocabulary, as I find myself sighting so many words in order to grasp a better understanding.
Story Line - the love story makes a great representation of disconnection within miscommunication between both characters. It's written to be a fairy tale ending yet it takes you on a beautiful authentic journey to achieve it.
Length - I personally enjoy the length of the books as it makes the credit usage more worth it & since I'm not big on television or anything I listen to books all day long, and when listening to this author I'm so intrigued that I want to listen or watch anything else.
Cons:
I've read another series and it sometimes becomes more parallel with the other series the author has written. I like a variety if it's not within the same series.
Overall phenomenal job and I would suggest it. However, to anyone who is complaining about Myles Washington - and I do enjoy his narration.. Get to know the character first before you judge the performance.

I was in your kitchen when you told me cheating is wrong, and it will never be right. But the biggest conflict is when you fall in love with someone who isn’t yours. You said people fall in and out of love every day, and that most of it is bullshit...being more about passion and temporary emotions. But when the person you’re cheating with is worth a commitment and a sacrifice, and when you’re prepared in your heart and mind to walk through the fire of the mess, it might be something real after all.

Absolutely Beautiful! Definitely Should Be On Screen
Revisado: 02-26-23
This was one of the best series I’ve come across! The writing was so sensational. I can admit that it was hard for me to get into the first book, but I told myself to be patient because the reviews! The story line was very refreshing. I got so attached. Although it was easily predicted they would end up together, the rollercoaster of that journey was so worth it. I learned so much in the book, from emotional health, vocabulary extension, geography, and so much more. The trauma was written so well and recovered even better! The narrators were lovely and is how I found the series. I really do love Emmanuel but this particular series, I believe Wesleigh could have carried out by herself as I felt more emotion when she narrated for the guy! It was truly a fantastic series that I can easily see adapting to on screen I was hooked from beginning to end! I also appreciated that the story was long but not drawn out every detail was worth it and came full circle. Truly beautiful! Congrats to Love Belvin on a great piece of art.

Listen this book was so hot!!! I read it in two days and by the end of that second day let's just say I went home and reenacted the book with my own man okayy! I really enjoyed it, I read a review prior to purchasing said it gave modern day Pretty Woman and she was so right but way more nasty and black excellence. I loved the characters, and of course the narrators. I am starting to become a strong Emmanuel Ingram fan and it is how I located this book. Ms. Warren defiantly has a new fan!
My only critique is to give both characters the same amount of backstory and moments.

Kema B coming through y’all! I’m an advocate reader earning every kind of Audible badge for the last three years. I have read nearly ever book Wesleigh has narrated and thanks to her I discovered this translucent beauty of a story and author. I adore her writing because she writes more in real time of reality. The rapper money good guy bad girl can get played out but she captures it in a whole new way that I truly enjoyed! It was fun, funny, sensual, and a feel good book to read! I truly enjoyed Icy character because it’s how so many girls operate in todays time tryna beat the guy to his own game! It was very very good and something I shared with my husband at the end was such a beautiful quote to go down in forever time about what’s meant for you is meant truly for you, you won’t need to question or make sense of it it’s just what’s on you! I really hopes she writes more books! I’m on my way to order her other novel! and Emmanuel has got me hoooooked!

One of my favs by Ms. House
Revisado: 04-08-22
It took me a long time to purchase the book but I’m so thankful I did. It was hands down one of her best stories as it was something you can truly relate to happen in the real world with someone you know or heard of! Jakobi is always my fav but hearing Wesleigh capture the soft innocent tone of Kendra was absolutely phenomenal to me. Great work everybody!!!! Loved it!!

Historia
The chemistry between Stephen Foster and Nubia Perry is an undeniable fact. The handsome, dynamic former rugby star is used to getting who he wants with minimal effort, but Nubia's steadfast refusal to acquiesce - while also making it clear that she's equally interested in him - is compelling enough to keep his attention firmly planted on her. Even once it's clear that Nubia's polished façade is something she puts on for the public, to hide the scarred, vulnerable woman underneath, Stephen persists. He isn't intimated by the model-turned-mogul's aggressive personality.

Revisado: 05-08-21
The series itself is great and I instantly knew Steph and Nubia story would come next! I absolutely loved everything about it! The narrators especially Jacobi per usual are amazing on their voice transitions. I feel it wasn’t an influx in big words or drawn out scenes like the book before! Very satisfying!

This was my first audiobook when the pandemic first broke out in March 2020 to see if audiobooks could be a thing to pass time and I was blown away! I’ve listened to great stories on the app but this stories/series by far is at the top of my list! I have read the series multiple times to when I run out of credits and it still gives me all the same feels as if I first read it! Looking forward to her next book with these characters!
