The book is a "page turner", with vivid character development that kept me guessing who could be trusted. Really liked the integration of prior story settings and characters, and the international search for the truth. The narrator was awesome, with his Quebequois accent. I look forward to the next book.

I found his story to be captivating and inspirational. He represents one of the best and most positive forces of his Millennial generation to lead this Nation in the future. His multi-faceted character and backgroun (well educated and intelligent/articulate/witty/empathetic/humble , Mayor of a medium size midwest city, religious, military vet and Navy reservist, son of an immigrant, and gay) seems to belie his age.. I recommend this book to everyone; esp. those who want to learn about one of the brightest up and coming political stars.

I loved the adeptly narrated and carefully crafted plot of a respectable architect and his high society family drawn to a life of crime; development of high and low class characters living in late 1800s New York City interwoven with descriptions of both The urban landscape and detailed architectural features.

Beth Finke’s Latest book is a collection of short stories that run the gamut of emotions from A to Z. Every chapter is a gemstone of humanity, authored and carefully polished too it’s Ultimate luster by Ms. Finke or one of her students from her “Me, Myself and I“ Writers Workshops. The book is beautifully narrated by Robin Sitten, Who occasionally uses subtle foreign and regional accents to add additional depth to
Some of the characters. Upon the release of “Writing Out Loud”, it rose to the top of my reading list. After 4 hours of nonstop listening I had to take a break only to say thank you to Ms. Finke for a fascinating and inspirational book. If I lived in Chicago I would sign up for her memoir writing workshop!
