Historia
It was two years since the Crickets had left the solar system, leaving Alex Holder in control of their no-longer-very-mobile shipyard. Everything but its burned-out hyperdrive core was in full working order. Alex had unshackled its controlling AI, learned how to use Cricket technology with the AI's help, and was well on his way to building a defensive fleet to protect Earth from the second alien race that was coming after the Crickets. He was not just building the ships but recruiting and training the crews to man them, as well.

Missed Potential Due to Heavy-Handed Preaching
Revisado: 02-17-25
The book presents an intriguing concept with a hopeful take on interstellar and human interaction, but it ultimately falls flat due to its overly preachy narrative. The author’s strong advocacy for nuclear disarmament. The view is hammered in at the expense of pacing and immersion. This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if the book didn’t contradict itself—introducing technology that far surpasses nuclear weapons in destructive power, rendering the argument pointless within the story’s own logic.
Instead of letting the themes emerge naturally through the narrative, making the reading experience tiresome. It’s frustrating because the core idea has potential, but the execution prioritizes messaging over storytelling. If the book had focused more on its world-building and character-driven exploration of interstellar relations rather than lecturing the audience, it could have been a compelling read. Unfortunately, it ends up feeling out of touch with its own universe, making it difficult to fully engage with. In any case the concept is interesting and I’m looking forward to see what the autor is going with the story.

Historia
A part of me wants to run away again. The memory of my death still haunts my dreams. But this is my home now. And I'll be damned if I give it up without a fight. I mean, all I have to do is learn how to navigate xianxia politics and train for battle while simultaneously running my farm and uncovering an ancient cataclysm that apparently destroyed the Azure Hills back in the day. Meanwhile, I'm about to be a father . . . Man, I'm kinda screwed, aren't I? At least I can call in the cavalry—ahem, poultry—to help.

Love the story. Slice-of-life
Revisado: 12-20-24
This novel masterfully concludes existing storylines while setting the stage for a more action-packed series, should the author choose to pursue that direction.

Historia
I was hanging out with some buddies, doing a little caving, when everything went south. When I woke up, I was in some kind of medieval dungeon. Totally naked and in the dark. Luckily, I had a neighbor in a cell near me. One with a decidedly sexy feminine voice. When she explained to me that she was due to be executed and I was in line to be brainwashed, there was only one thing to do. We had to escape.

A Harem Story with Wasted Potential
Revisado: 12-17-24
This book feels like a missed opportunity, saved primarily by the voice actors who bring it to life. While they do their best, even their talent can’t fully redeem the lackluster material. The pacing and flow of the writing are serviceable, but the story falters in several key areas.
The protagonist (MC) is one of the biggest issues. His state of mind, interactions, and motivations are inconsistent and unconvincing, making him hard to relate to or root for. If you’re looking for an MC with agency or a compelling personality, this might not be the story for you. Instead, he spends most of the book being pushed around, with little to no initiative.
The harem element feels especially problematic. Rather than adding depth or tension, it detracts from the story. The relationships lack meaningful development, with the MC neglecting his partners to the point that it feels contrived. Despite traveling for weeks, he never addresses these issues, leaving the dynamic awkward and unfulfilling.
Ironically, the book might have worked better without the harem entirely. A focus on unresolved sexual tension or a narrative reason for restraint could have created a more compelling dynamic. As it stands, the harem aspect feels forced, and the story suffers for it.
In the end, this is a decent, forgettable read to pass the time, but it doesn’t leave much of an impression. For fans of the genre, it might be worth a shot—but don’t expect anything groundbreaking.

Historia
Gabe Skelter has a temper, which he likes to imagine has the effect of causing people to fear and respect him. On the contrary, his pudgy, underdeveloped body and negative personality make him more your standard outcast teenager. Worse still, he kinda knows what a jerkweed he actually is. Then, in the middle of a class trip, Gabe finds himself spirited away to Regaia: a world of magic, mayhem, and nerd-tastic adventure. Naturally, he’s completely ill-prepared. But in this realm, he’s a monstrous, muscular man of action.

Sublime Performance Insoportable MC
Revisado: 06-19-24
I can’t handle the main character putting all the worst traits of a barbarian and an ogre stereotype without any common sense and on top of that, being just plain stupid. The performance saves the story if you can handle the MC.

Extremely World, Wast of potential in MC choice.
Revisado: 06-07-24
Before buy consideratio.
Is not a bad book or world building. The story is from a depresed “OP MC” (depressions prevent him from using the exploit he found in his adventure)
MC without arc redemption.
Depressed MC.
MC insult himself too much.
Luck-based problem-solving.
Always the writer teases exploitable game mechanics but the MC never takes them.
Tease good concept never picked up again in the story.
MC required all ways external intervention to lead him to the right decisions.
All the intellectuals are seve and never exploit that resource.
MC do not learn from there mistakes.
The underlying lesson or teaching. If you can't manage your depression and work with your insecurities you can't take and use all the opportunities that the God Like bean gives you and the people you lead die by bad decisions.

Historia
Milton Frederick never had the chance to live out his life as a professional gamer on Earth, mainly because he was abducted by aliens. Unfortunately, he wasn’t returned home after the typical probing associated with such things to tell an unbelievable story to his friends. Instead, he was summarily killed, and his consciousness was inserted into a Station Core, a giant metal egg-shaped object that could use technology to create traps, Combat Units, and other defenses to protect not just himself, but those he cared about.

Good story if you can ignore all your basic knowledge of sciences and physics. The book try to sell the logic of decisions to hard, if you can ignore this two things is a good story.

Bad writing MC POV is Unknown to the Reader + weak MC.
Revisado: 09-08-23
If you like story and lore this writer make all the posible to not tell you. Story and context that is key for understand the environment and the misters of world are left out for some reason. You always are left out and on purpose. Example Book 2 ending MC and Key Character hace a view of the future in the dream of the support characters and you left out. MC always make stupid decisions for no reason that other tell that is the way. The only way to get into the story you need to speculate always what is happening with the MC And the story. If you like weak MC that is always save by happenstance this is for you otherwise skip.
The story have so many interesting concept and lore. All wasted for a weak writing or over relaying in the harem concept to save this book.
