A Beautiful Story

Over the last few months, I have been devouring every book from Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere. Though I have loved each one I have read (and I’ve read 16 so far), this one holds a special place in my heart. The story of Painter and Yumi is beautiful and warm. The world is magical and interesting, the plot exciting and fresh. In short, this is a true masterpiece.

This story captured my full attention by chapter 5 and did not let go! The writing is elegant and descriptive. The story is unique and has incredible depth and complexity. It is also perfectly narrated. This book has changed my brain chemistry forever, I fear.

Enchanting Story (with Murder)

I loved this entire story! The twists were surprising and satisfying, the main character’s personal journey was endearing, and the representation was so, so lovely. In top of all that, the narration was PERFECTION! This one is well worth the time investment, and I will be returning to this book again and again.

Beautiful and Unhurried

As always, Rainbow Rowell has given life to every character in such a refreshing way. There is sharp, witty dialogue and true humanity throughout the story. Some reviews said this was needlessly long, but I enjoyed how beautifully written and thorough Cary and Shiloh’s story was.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.
