Historia
Raising godly children should be the goal of each Christian family. Far too often we get caught up in the same methods and philosophies that fail in the world. Raising children should not be based upon the prevailing ideology of the culture, nor on the practices of our parents. The Bible is our guide and gives us sound counsel on how to raise children to be godly. Godly and not just good is our goal. A godly child will be good, but far too many children have been taught mechanical obedience and not sought after godliness. This book is intended to help you implement the truths of scripture ...

Narrator said “score under” for 30 minutes. A few good points on the book but actually going to see if I can get my money back on this one. AI read which at times was a little off.

Historia
Children and families burdened with attachment disruption, emotional distress, or psychological disorders need effective and immediate assistance. They do not have the time to wait for long-term interventions or developmental changes to improve the parent-child relationship. Here, psychologists Elizabeth A. Sylvester and Kat Scherer provide the most effective approach in such situations: interventions that impact the entire family at relational, emotional, and cognitive-behavioral levels.

Very informative but read like a book

The speaker is clear and consistent but the context is tough to listen to as far as engaging and real life examples. Could have been cut down to 2 hours and actually been just as interesting and informative but the author needs to find ways of engaging his/her readers instead of writing a book for possible college students to thumb through.

Very very basic

Good for someone that doesnt know a thing about trading but very basic information and history of how the stock market came to be. Waste of money otherwise. Wish people would review these correctly so I wouldnt of bought this in the first place.

Historia
Fasting is a technique that has been used by ancient civilizations for clarity, discipline, and as a method for connecting to a higher power. What they didn't know is how effective fasting was at unlocking a powerful natural mechanism within. Recent scientific research on the inner workings of the body has revealed a regenerative process called autophagy, which is the closest thing to the fountain of youth that we have ever discovered. Autophagy is the body's housekeeping method and is used to clean up and recycle old and damaged cells so that newer and younger cells can be generated.

Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Speaker was great
Revisado: 05-05-21
Speaker was great but was hoping for useable content on "how to" and not just a history lesson.
