Historia
Looking for a unique paranormal cozy mystery series that's lighthearted and fun? Settle into the cozy countryside of Moss Hill, where house-elves rent rooms, sprites live in gardens, a leprechaun is the best tailor in town, and a half elf/half human named Carissa Shea owns a pharmacy known as The Seelie Tree Apothecary shop. Life couldn't be more idyllic for Cari, but healing humans and fae folk proves challenging at times, especially when secrets unfold in The Faerie Apothecary Mysteries.

A fun, light hearted mystery
Revisado: 04-25-19
An imaginative mystery story that is suitable for pre-teens and older,
interested in the magical and human worlds. Chaos, a nature fairy, has a lot more to her than appears in her impulsive and somewhat childish behavior, in helping protect Moss Hill with Carissa, a half-fae. Narration by Elizabeth Klett is very well done.

Historia
Following Anne of Green Gables (1908), this book was written by Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1909. From the age of 16 to 18, Anne is about to start her first term teaching at the Avonlea school. The book soon introduces Anne's new and problematic neighbor, Mr. Harrison, and his foul-mouthed parrot, as well as the twins, Davy and Dora. Other characters introduced are some of Anne's new pupils and Miss Lavendar Lewis, a sweet but lonely lady.

Overall a good portrayal of Anne of Avonlea.
Revisado: 04-10-19
I love the stories of Anne Shirley and this is no exception. Anne is a charming and disarming orphan who was adopted by Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, brother and sister, neither of whom had ever married. She has an optimistic view of life, despite the hardships she faced from her infancy. Her coping mechanism was escaping into a world of imagination, where she often acted according to how she imagined things to be, much more interesting or fanciful, than they really were.
This was the first time I had listened to a dramatic reading of a book and it took a bit of getting used to. I noticed it sounded a but glitchy at the beginning but I either got used to it, or it stopped happening.
Some of the characters’ voices seemed a little immature for the ages that they were supposed to be. Some tended to sound a little whiny, but overall it was well done. I would still recommend this version.

Historia
The quiet town of Moss Hill would be in trouble if not for one daring nature faerie: a sprite known as Chaos. Though she is little, she is...fierce isn't the right word. Spirited is more accurate. She's traveled far and wide to warn the half-human, half-elf Carissa Shae about a danger that's coming to the countryside. Carissa's Seelie Tree Apothecary shop is no stranger to faeries, but with this new arrival, its owner, and Moss Hill, will never be the same. Is this cozy town ready for a little Chaos?

A delightful new fairy tale.
Revisado: 02-04-19
Chaos in the Countryside is a delightful tale of fairies among us. It is a perfectly enchanting novella for children and adults who wonder about the fairy legends. I look forward to Astoria Wright’s succeeding novels. Elizabeth Klett’s narration is fun and, as always, well done. She brings the story to life. I highly recommend Chaos in the Countryside for anyone looking for a little magic and mystery in their lives.

Historia
Molly is the last person who should answer the ad for a teaching job on the remote Scottish island of Lilliebrae. Truthfully, she only took the job after her life in America went from bad to worse. From day one on the island, Molly's sure she's not meant to stay. When a rugged journeyman arrives, things get even more complicated, and she's pushed even further outside her comfort zone. With his help, Molly works on finding the beauty of perhaps.

A beautifully written story of losing oneself to truly find life and love.
Revisado: 07-10-17
The Beauty of Perhaps is a beautifully written story of a not-so-young lady, in her eyes, running away from her perfectly planned, predictable life in Seattle, on an uncharacteristic whim, to teach at a tiny country school in the Scottish Highlands, without an inkling that she will actually find herself and gain an independence and confidence she never dreamed of. Molly Baker, a teacher, with dreams of being an artist like her Gran, has no idea what adventures await and what freedom she'll find as she steps off the boat onto the island of Lily Brae. (I hope I spelled it correctly, having listened to it, not read it.) She conquers her fear of taking life as it comes and rolling with it, as she rebuilds her relationship with her sister and finds love, deeply, in so many more ways than she ever thought possible. The author, Eryn Scott, leads the listeners along in such a way that they really aren't sure what will happen between Molly and the man she falls hard for, Graham Gates, or "Gates," as everyone calls him. She uses discretion in her writing, leaving love scenes to the imagination, without being explicit, which is as appreciated as it is unusual in our day.
Elizabeth Klett's narration is captivating. Her talent and versatility for bringing characters to life, as people we actually think we know, shines in her presentation of this delightful story.
