I am well aware there are many who do not like audible books that are narrated by the author. I am NOT one of them (unless it is fiction).
Furthermore, I am a big fan of Ralph Martin and consequently and frequently watch his YouTube channel, Renewal Ministries. I enjoy listening to his Spirit led and grandfather-like delivery. Nonetheless, if the listener does not, and is finding it difficult and or distracting to listen, then I would strongly encourage said person to BUY AND READ the physical book because this message needs to be heard. Let us pray for each other's holiness and God's blessings to be upon us.
God bless Ralph Martin and his ministry.

My Favorite Odd Manuscript

Uneviquabably my favorite "manuscript" in the Odd Thomas series of eight books and one short story concerning the prelude, ...not withstanding the final three chapters of "Saint Odd." ;-)
Anyone who knows me would not find my love of these titles, storylines, and consequential assessment to be "odd" at all.
I would love to see Mr. Dean Koontz develop the "Brother Knuckles" character and/or the "Russian Bear" character in their own series.
I also found the narrator to be very talented in ALL the books of this series, but most especially in "Brother Odd" and in the final book, "Saint Odd."

Having completed the entire audio series of A Song of Ice and Fire, I have edited all my ratings of the narrator's performance. Roy Dotrice ruined my perceptions of the characters with inconsistent character tones.
I would rather have had the books read in a monotone voice free of all inflections than listen to him make manly men sound like some whimpy teenage boy and Danny like some old crone (referencing ADWD narration).
With that being said, the series is still so damn good that I'm listening again for a second go around. I just work harder at dreaming of a world where the actors of the HBO series are providing the voices for the audio series and Dotrice only supplies the narration!
