In life, we are tasked with a plethora of problems, possibilities, and probabilities. All of which test our faith and resolve. I was so delighted to have experienced the audio version of this awesome book The Five and a half Questions Everyone Must Answer. In focusing on my strengths I was amazed at how powerful I really am. Yet at the same time, I was almost embarrassed at the weaknesses and character issues that I was able to ascertain. If we are honest with ourselves there are areas that we excel in that should be highlighted and greenlighted. I can truthfully say that I have all too often downplayed my strengths and allowed my weaknesses to rule.

When I started looking at who I allow in my inner areas and what role and or significance they play I was again aghast. Character is so important yet I have allowed individuals of less than stellar attributes to occupy important high-level space. I can see now how their presence has influenced and ultimately impacted my choices, chances, and conversation.

In answering the questions in the quadrant of weakness awareness I was hit hard. I can see some of the areas that I was less than honest with myself, my family, and others that matter most to me. I have observed myself sacrificing quality time that should be shared with loved ones, for the prospect of getting another dollar instead of making a difference. The quality of these questions should (and did) impact me. I have had to thoroughly question every aspect of my life. I have been dishonest with myself to a fault and yet did so with the intention of leveraging my time, talent, and treasure.

When these core quality questions are answered with integrity and intentionality, I believe a foundation can be built that will allow an individual to grow and flow into a more excellent version of themselves. The tools presented and the methodology utilized will cause a deep dive into not only a person's intrinsic understanding of themselves but will cause an extrinsic transformation that can lead to greater growth, true transformation and an ultimate utilization of the salient qualities God gifted every man.

Those that circumvent this process will only do so to escape the raw exposure it evokes. Anyone wishing to scale and become a more excellent person will value and validate these principles and answer the most important question of all...WHY!
