Revisado: 07-01-22
This is the second book of Klassen’s I’ve read & thoroughly enjoyed. Good character studies, mystery & romance. Moved quickly. I will read more of her work as I think I’ve read everything Roseanna White has written. Ms. Klassen may be my new favorite!

Her best yet!!!
Revisado: 03-20-22
I didn’t think I would enjoy this book as much as the previous Codebreaker book but it surpassed it. Full of drama, espionage, intrigue & romance. I love how Ms. White gives us a glimpse into history as well. I was not a good history student ( presented in a dry & boring fashion when I was in school) and her books have caused me to do research now into these periods of history that I know little about.
Thank you Ms. White, keep them coming.

Excellent!
Revisado: 03-16-22
I am a fan of Roseanna White’s books. I don’t think I’ve been disappointed in any & I think I have read most of them. This one moved faster than others, very much a “cliffhanger “ suspense, drama & romance kept me listening non- stop. Very enjoyable, love the continuity of characters in previous books. Also I like Liz Pearce as a narrator and almost didn't purchase because the narration was done by another person, Susan Lyons has a different style but does a great job!! Not disappointed.
Can’t wait to start the next in series, but I need to do some work first!!

Historia
Years ago, the day before Ellie moved from Georgia to California, she and her best friend, Nolan, sat beneath the Spanish moss of an ancient oak tree where they wrote letters to each other, and sealed them in a rusty old metal box. The plan was to return 11 years later and read them. But now, as that date arrives, much has changed. Ellie, bereft of the faith she grew up with, is a single mom living in a tired apartment trying to make ends meet. Sometimes she watches television to catch a glimpse of her old friend - Nolan, now an NBA star, whose terrible personal tragedies fueled his faith and athletic drive in equal measure.

Historia
One of Jane Austen’s most beloved works, Pride and Prejudice, is vividly brought to life by Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike ( Gone Girl). In her bright and energetic performance of this British classic, she expertly captures Austen’s signature wit and tone. Her attention to detail, her literary background, and her performance in the 2005 feature film version of the novel provide the perfect foundation from which to convey the story of Elizabeth Bennet, her four sisters, and the inimitable Mr. Darcy.
