Really struggled to finish the last half of the book.

I really enjoyed Amy Poehler's, Yes, Please; and was hoping for a similar read- with introspective from the author- however, it really missed the mark and the bits of "unqualified" advice with lists were really strange. Like, don't date the following professionals; never really coming back to a point, other than not to date: ;doctors, magicians, actors, singers....

Any additional comments?

I wanted a break from my normal genre of books and to download something that was just entertaining. After browsing for a bit, I decided to try this title. After all, Amy always seems gleeful, sunny and entertaining.

Most of the book is light and very funny, but the bigger impact were the parts in which she seemed to share very personal stories and lessons about just being "a better human".

I found her all too relatable when she shared stories being addicted to reading about tragedy and then talking her self through how she would react differently. As I've been doing this for years, I found it great to now have a term, "tragedy porn"

Any additional comments?

This was a great resource as a reminder to living in the present. I recommended pairing this brief story with one that provides more depth and application to being present. I enjoyed reading Dare: The New Way to End Anxiety and Stop Panic Attacks by Barry McDonagh.

The "stories" read like a bad sitcom with a lack of creativity. I stopped listen 30 minutes in.
