Historia
It’s been an enjoyable and murder-free time for Judith, Suzie and Becks since the events of last year. The most exciting thing on the horizon is the upcoming wedding of Marlow grandee, Sir Peter Bailey, to his nurse, Jenny Page. Sir Peter is having a party at his grand mansion on the river Thames the day before the wedding, and Judith and Co. are looking forward to a bit of free champagne. But during the soiree, there’s a crash from inside the house, and when the Marlow Murder Club rush to investigate, they are shocked to find the groom-to-be crushed to death in his study.

Historia
When billionaire Felix Worthington invites the five cast members of the TV show A Little Slice of Haven to recreate their roles twenty-five years later, they're initially skeptical. It's an unusual request, even for a self-professed superfan like Felix. For several of them, playing a member of the Barlow family in the small town of Haven in the 1940s was an experience best forgotten. But living in a recreated version of the town in a warehouse in Montana has its appeal. And the clincher? Two million dollars for each of them, provided they stay in character.

Would make a great mini-series.
Revisado: 03-22-24
Growing up watching a lot of TV....this story kept me very entertained. None of the characters were my favorite but all together a great story. Slightly predictable but engaging. I would like to see this brought to the small screen in the form of a miniseries. Great story.

Great story but the narrator...
Revisado: 01-14-23
Very interesting and somewhat relaxing for some reason. I really wish the narrator Willow Nash would check into pronouncing certain words. In my experience "paella" (pai-ay-uh.) the l's are silent.
She does Pearl's voice very well along with other female characters. But I found the way she did Mike McGuire's voice very grating. I wish he sounded a little more distinguished. He sounds like he has a constant cold.
Other than that, I have found this series very enjoyable.

Very well researched. Narration was good. Beware of cringe at certain points as the story. I was barely paying attention to Meghan and Harry before. Now I know why they kept showing up in the headlines.

Narrarator........
Revisado: 09-27-21
I may be wrong but it seemed to me the narrorator pronounced some names and some words wrong. It seemed like the author was just mostly quoting old magazine articles. Maybe on print it's better. I was a fan at one time of the show but not a huge fan. Maybe super fans would appreciate it more.

Historia
Bernadette Fox is notorious. To her Microsoft-guru husband, she's a fearlessly opinionated partner; to fellow private-school mothers in Seattle, she's a disgrace; to design mavens, she's a revolutionary architect, and to 15-year-old Bee, she is a best friend and, simply, Mom.
Then Bernadette disappears. It began when Bee aced her report card and claimed her promised reward: a family trip to Antarctica. But Bernadette's intensifying allergy to Seattle - and people in general - has made her so agoraphobic that a virtual assistant in India now runs her most basic errands.
