Needed hard truths brought in a loving manner

I feel challenged after reading this book. The author challenges from a Biblical perspective
to live like "crazy" to this world, loving God and people radically, while not setting for less.
If you want to be challenged to grow in your Christian life, this book can stir you up for it.

Essential for good apologetics

I enjoy apologetics and I found the book a fundamental piece for those who want to be equipped for apologetics. The book claims to be for the non-Christian too, and that is true, but the person must be willing to go through the book, as there is also a good portion of discussion upon the Christian perspective. Having said that, the book is a must for those who want to be able to converse with those who pose the creation narrative as a reason to disbelieve.

Denying pleasure? No, not really.

John Piper brings a provocative thought with the concept of "Christian Hedonism". The way he elaborates where this comes from in the Scriptures really made me reflect deeply. This is a great book for anyone that is seeking to find out what it means to have joy in God.

This is an essential and thought provoking book as Ravi and Vince guide us through and expose the secular worldviews and contrast them with the teachings and life of Jesus. It is a great book for anyone who desires to be able to figure out better people who claim to spouse worldviews like humanism, relativism, hedonism and atheism.

Pleasant and informative reading

I've found this book great because I had never come across any material that would synthesize what Buddhism stands for and how it stands compared to the message of Jesus. Guiding us through a pleasant narrative, Gautama Buddha's story is introduced to the layperson and the most remarkable aspects of that worldview are shed light upon.
This is an indispensable reading for those who want to know more about other worldviews and compare the principles of religions with the teachings of Jesus.

I loved the book. The story of Ravi Zacharia's life was not only interesting, but brought my attention to many ignored sides of the Christian evangelism story. It was really great! The narrator's voice resembles Ravi Zacharia's on top of that, what really gives the feel of having Ravi telling this story for you.
