Beautiful story :) Very creative and full of important messages. Loved it as well as Humphrey’s narration! Just beautifully read with a voice that was so easy to listen to - especially for each character. Just very smooth, soothing, imaginative and funny. This book shows how vain and ridiculous people make life. I felt a great since of child-like innocence while listening and it brought me back to viewing life from the eyes of a child.

Listening to Malcom X’s speeches has truly given me more insight into African-American/Black history (my history). His intellect, confidence, frankness, boldness and delivery inspire me. Malcom X articulately communicated social, racial and political issues in his time that are very relevant and true until this day. The reader did an exceptional job in his reading of Malcom’s speeches! I plan to order the physical book :)

Inspired and Empowered...Loved It

Really enjoyed this book in audible. Nothing like hearing it be read by the author herself! Clarissa is a great story teller, her voice is soothing and kept me tuned it. Great messages that any women can relate to, no matter their beliefs. I’m a Christian, so a lot of the tales I related to spiritually and also personally.
