My low hopes were blown away

I never thought a narrator would put in the time and effort needed to master this epic trail. but Andy has. He has outperformed his marginal Hobbit narration and taken the LOTR to an entirely new level of greatness. Flawless, artful naration. Epic story needed and epic naration. Andy delivered, BIG TIME!

Stop advertising the Woke Rings of Power HERE

The woke Rings of Power is a cultural appropriation by woke idealogs that does not honor the work and memory of JRR Tolkien. Shame on the Tolkien estate for allowing woke ideology to infect the peerless work of their brilliant forefather. It is equivalent to trash on a priceless masterpiece. Shame!

narrator could have done better

Love the story! I was very excited to get an update narration. You see, I listen to this book every night before bed. It draws me into my childhood, where we read Tolkien every evening.
With this narrator's resume, you would think the emotion he expresses would match the story. He does wonderfully in the beginning. Then he gets lazy. Within a few chapters, he's not prepared for the story. His voice growls when the character should be happy and speaks with a sing song when the character isn't happy. He's not adding to the story. He isn't paying attention to what is happening with his characters. That's inexcusable. This should not just be a chance to show off his voice.
With a story this important, he could have done better.
This does NOT earn him my vote to perform a Lord of the Rings remake.
He should have done much better.

This isn't a trite exercise in grief counseling. It's not a research paper of platitudes. It's not a Bible study from a concordance.

This is a stunning expression of vulnerable faith. It shares lessons earned where the hard road of life touches our tender expectations.

This book is one you'll want to share.

Thank you Brain for living your life in the honorable pursuit of truth. You inspired your parents to find what works. Your life is benefitting my life, and to a far greater degree, my disabled son's life. Without you, we would have only our faith to sustain us. Instead, your life lead to an answer to our faithful search.

Kurt, I hope to thank you and your parents personally some day. I too know the pain of loosing your siblings. Your honor to their memory is something I respect deeply.

Amazing and engaging story of and treatment of OCD

This superbly produced and well-written book brings alive the struggle of OCD and gives excellent tried-and-true advice. As a family member of two people with OCD, this book is the first one to allow me to actually understand and provide a helping hand. This underappreciated gem should be your first choice if you are looking to learn more about or walk through this disorder. this book is worthy of the credit, as I am really listening to it for the second time.. and getting more out of it on the second read.
