The intro was very long and there was a MUSIC TRACK through it. Impossible to listen to on 2x speed… and it’s too much fluff for me. I would rate it a 1 but since I have barely listened in, the music and fluff (too much introductory words) made me give up, so maybe it gets better after chapter 4.

works wonders. I prefer even slower speed than 1.00. love how he pauses sometimes. the voice is silk to my ears.

Money Deception or Self Help Book?

At the end I was constantly checking my Audible app making sure I had not switched book. T shifted from «fyi» to how to fix your mind set. Didnt mind that much.

Interesting dive into a world I am not familiar with

I enjoyed it a lot. Annotated some, and I think I might do a re-listen. For some, the book may come off as «there was this one time and then there was this other time and then there was another time» stream of consciousness writing, so for those who prefer more dramatization it might be jarring, but for me, and those who genuinely just are curious to learn how the criminals launder money, it is super!!

Matt Bird's book is one of my all time favourites. This podcast was such a bonus discovery for me. also, Love how this is actually a discussion. And how great it is to hear people disagree in such a delightful way.

and Matt is probably one of the greatest treasures we have right now reg. story construction.

Too general for my taste

Super for those who are interested in general recorded positive thinking for playback. But I picked up this because I thought I would learn to create my own personal Affirmations.

Don't they, isn't it, didn't they, aren't they

I like the content, but the amount of times the narrator adds aren't they, don't they, isn't it, is becoming extremely daunting. I am at chapter 7.
Usually I am not sensitive to mouth noises, clicking noises, monotone voice etc. so I was suprised to note that I am sensitive to these types of "wanting to engage listener to think by using informal lingo technique" .for me, being constantly pulled out from the text is so unbearable. In beginning of Chapter 7 she has 3 in a row.

example: listening to these things can be tiresom, cant it? so you may want to find something else to listen to, dont you? and then, you lose out of content otherwise quite good, dont you. so ask yourself this question. It's difficult, isnt it? to choose, isnt it, since we all have to consider, dont we, whether to tolerate it or find something else?

I will date this reciew, as I realize that they may decide to re-edit. (review Late September 2019)
