Historia
It's 1979, and Will Hessler has found himself in the desert outside of Dimona, Israel, training for operations with a secret division within Israeli intelligence. When a soldier is kidnapped at the Israeli/Palestine border, Will follows Jacob Mitzak on a mission to get him back, but that's just the beginning. A Directorate S agent deployed by the KGB is loose in one of Israel's nuclear reactor sites, and though Will doesn't know it yet, he has the key to finding him. Is Will Hessler ready for the realities of this new world and his place in it?

The story is good. And I enjoyed it. However, the narrator commodore James isn’t very good. He continually mispronounces the names of cities. The story would be more enjoyable with a better narrator. Someone who clearly takes the time to research what they are reading instead of fumbling through it.

Historia
A rogue Russian nuke sails toward the harbors of Los Angeles in the hull of a ramshackle sailboat. Without destroying a single building, the bomb shatters the latticework of the American dream, toppling one piece of the economy after another. A group of Special Forces veterans and their prepper friends scramble for survival in a worldwide catastrophe so psychologically disruptive they are left questioning everything they ever believed to be true.

Awesome book

Hello all, I loved the book. And as a former fast Marine could identify with it greatly. And agree with it. I offer congratulations in its success. My only complaint is the reader. It sounded as though he had to figure out what the next word was before saying it many times throughout reading. As though there was a hiccup in his brain. Along with some mispronunciation along the way. I fear that this might turn some readers/listeners away. Anyway, good luck. And congratulations again. Semper Fi.

Historia
In the Jericho Black series Will Hessler goes up against neo-Nazis, radical jihadists, East German assassins, and even the KGB, but how did he get his start? How did a starving artist from San Francisco become Israel's most lethal deep-cover operative? It all starts with Book One: Among Wolves. Growing up in 1970s San Francisco as a young artist, Will finds himself at odds with his Nazi war-criminal grandfather and radical jihadist mother.

Even better than anticipated
Revisado: 11-12-18
I got this book from a fellow Marine. In fact, the Marine that wrote it. I figured it would be good. Because, and maybe it’s with a bit of arrogance, it was written by a Marine that served in one of the same units I did. And we didn’t do things half way. We sunk our whole selves into things. That was one of the things that happened when I started listening to this book. I had sunk myself into it. It sucks you in. It was so realistic and made you feel every emotion. It made me believe that the author was indeed the person that these things actually happened to. As if it was his life story. Compelling, heart breaking, suspenseful, fulfilling, and amazing. Great job. Truly, I will be getting the next book. Jordan, congratulations, thank you and Semper Fi.
