The author has tried to consider all things, except that which, in my opinion, is most important. That we are not mere animals controlled only by our instincts, baser needs and longings. We above all creatures have the ability of self control, reason and morality. To behave in a way with more meaning than our simple fleshly desires. Still interesting Information. Even if I disagree with the conclusions.

A remarkable biography of a remarkable man!

As a lifetime lover of Leonard Cohen I am always hungering to know more about him. The book was comprehensive and an easy listen. A great narration as well. It struck a great balance of covering a lot, without droning on with too much detail that becomes hard to listen to. Anyone interested in knowing more about the late great L. Cohen should give this a listen.
