Do not worry, because this audiobook gives you the fundamentals of eight programming languages in a single audiobook! Interestingly, you don’t have to buy eight different programming books to learn each language, as I have compiled everything you need in a single audiobook.

Not suited to audio, and badly edited.
Revisado: 03-27-22
This book wasn’t written in a way that translates well to audio. Additionally, it is highly superficial, covering entire languages in a few minutes, and appears to have been haphazardly edited. Audio also skips sections of the text without comment.
This beginner’s guide skips essential groundwork and vocabulary, actually suggesting beginners need prior knowledge for some sections.

Enjoyable, but shy of being very good
Revisado: 08-19-20
Very good in some areas (world building, for example) but two of the principle characters are a bit thin, and there’s too much use of deus ex machina

Some nice twists along the way, even if some (maybe all to the more attentive) can be caught

Historia
One may view industrial/organizational psychology as the merger of industry, organization, and its relation to psychology. Industrial relates to industry, referencing, “the economic activity concerned with the processing of raw materials and manufacture of goods in factories.” The organization is “an organized body of people with a particular purpose, especially a business, society, or association.” Psychology represents the scientific study of behavior and mind. Industrial/organizational psychology is the merger of these three entities into a single scientific discipline.

Difficult to listen to, good information
Revisado: 03-15-16
The author repeatedly uses an awkward sentence structure ("Making it difficult to listen to is the sentence structure; increasing the difficulty is the inflection.") Also, the reader uses a repeated rising inflection, alternating with a semi-monotonous high inflection. The makes it hard to follow the flow of concepts, as the reading lacks the normal conclusion indicators of changed inflection.

Daunted by the "great big books" of the Western canon? Looking for the same pleasures, satisfactions, and insights from books that are shorter, more accessible, and less dependent on classical references and difficult language than tomes such as Moby-Dick and Ulysses?

Historia
Many of your emotional responses, regardless of how much strength you've given them, can be brought down, deconstructed, and reshaped. You will just have to learn how to give your knee-jerk response to emotional stimuli less strength - less of a jerk. To do that you will have to commit to reinventing the way you think and behave. With Go Suck a Lemon, you will approach that task by accepting and then adapting to a no-nonsense style of emotional problem solving.

Good information, difficult listen.
Revisado: 10-25-15
The book is well-written and insightful. The audio is distracting. The reading is somewhat monotonous, and is backed (oddly) by a distracting musical loop that is nearly a lullaby, the combination making it difficult to stay focused on the material.
