Historia
As the daughter of a drug dealer, Wavy knows not to trust people, not even her own parents. It's safer to keep her mouth shut and stay out of sight. Struggling to raise her little brother, Donal, eight-year-old Wavy is the only responsible adult around. Obsessed with the constellations, she finds peace in the starry night sky above the fields behind her house until one night her stargazing causes an accident. After witnessing his motorcycle wreck, she forms an unusual friendship with one of her father's thugs, Kellen, a tattooed ex-con with a heart of gold.

Hauntingly Beautiful

A book I won’t be able to stop thinking about. Some of the themes are hard to hear, but so gripping and emotional.

I'm sorry, what!? ❤️
Revisado: 06-12-23
I was absolutely not expecting such beautiful, funny, steamy, and romantic feelings from a book I randomly picked up during a sale. I couldn't have been happier. I'm a sucker for that accent too! I've been playing Audiobook Roulette this summer and just listening to whatever comes next in my downloaded library without reading the description. This book swept me right off my feet. It's one of those "can't stop listening, if the world would just shut up, I'm listening to a good book" good books. I can't wait to add every one of this author's books to my "I must read everything by this author" list! Loved. It. ❤️❤️❤️

Historia
Every dawn brings horror to a different family in a land ruled by a killer. Khalid, the 18-year-old caliph of Khorasan, takes a new bride each night only to have her executed at sunrise. So it is a suspicious surprise when 16-year-old Shahrzad volunteers to marry Khalid. But she does so with a clever plan to stay alive and exact revenge on the caliph for the murder of her best friend and countless other girls. Shazi's wit and will, indeed, get her through to the dawn that no others have seen, but with a catch.

Enchanting!
Revisado: 01-28-19
I was completely captivated by this book. I don't usually read books of this genre but I was instantly hooked. The story had me glued to my earbuds from start to finish. I loved it and I immediately downloaded the next book when it ended. The other reviewers were correct when they talked about the narrator being confusing. She was definitely not my favorite. It is so very hard to distinguish between characters when she talks. I feel it's especially important in a book like this when the names are hard to pronounce, the world/setting in which we are trying to visualize ourselves in is so foreign, and the characters dialogue is so quickly back and forth. Not a deal breaker but it does require a closer listen at some points.

Historia
Twenty-six-year-old Gaby Barreto might be a lot of things (loyal, sarcastic, one of the guys, and a pain in the butt, depending on which family member you ask), but dumb isn't one of them. When her twin brother invites her to go on tour as his band's merch girl, she isn't exactly screaming at the top of her lungs with joy. But with no job opportunities pounding on her door, an ex-boyfriend she would still like to castrate, and no end in sight to moving out of her parents' house in Dallas, it would be dumb to say no to the chance of a lifetime.

Historia
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

All smiles and tears. C. Hoover for the win!
Revisado: 01-16-18
Loved it! I finished it in one day. I had a grin on my face for most of the book and when I didn't I was choking back tears. Probably one my favorite Colleen Hoover books yet. The story was great and the narrators were perfect. I reserve 5 stars for my favorite books of all time but I would definitely give this a strong 4.5 (a book I'll continue thinking about for days and recommend to friends)
