Good continuation of Tanner's story. Terrible narration.
Revisado: 07-07-24
The story was good. Tanner was a bit more whiny then usual. Narration was terrible. If the entire series up to this point had been narrated like this one then I wouldn't have made it past book 1.

Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Fun story. Great narration.
Revisado: 10-24-22
The story is fun and characters are enjoyable. Will Wheaton as narration was the key. He added so much to it to kick up the enjoyment factor beyond what I expected.

Historia
Victoria McQueen has an uncanny knack for finding things: a misplaced bracelet, a missing photograph, answers to unanswerable questions. When she rides her bicycle over the rickety old covered bridge in the woods near her house, she always emerges in the places she needs to be. Vic doesn't tell anyone about her unusual ability, because she knows no one will believe her. She has trouble understanding it herself.

Good story, great narration.
Revisado: 09-21-22
The story was pretty good and reminded me of some Stephen King's works. No surprise there. The narration was very good in my opinion with Kate Mulgrew. I was impressed with the range of her voices as I didn't expect as much differentiation. But her characters were largely easy to identify. There are places in the story where she pauses for a bit and then continues that were a bit annoying. However, without seeing the text I won't necessarily fault her for that as it may be was the way it was written.

Interesting story that overall lived up to what I expected from Mark Edwards. Narration was good and easy to listen to. Hopefully there will be a follow up story.

Good story.
Revisado: 08-17-22
I enjoyed the story. Narrator was good. No regrets listening to this one. Would gladly listen or read to another book from the author and the narrator. There were a few nit picks in details about the story but while they nag at me a bit I could still enjoy it.
