Wanted to like it.

I wanted to like this book. I feel like it was very simple. It had no meat. I’ve read Sandra Brown when I was a teenager and I don’t feel like she has grown as a writer very much.

Looking for a new series similar to the In Death Nora Roberts series. This one came up and I enjoyed this book but not near as detailed and thoroughly thought out as In Death series. It’s way to short for 18.00. I don’t think it’s worth a full credit. Maybe a 3 book collection. I get glimpses of a really great book. I went back and looked to see if this was the abridged version. I will continue to read this series but I might try to read it instead not to waste my credits.

I’m obsessed with these writers. This story line just keeps delivering. I was worried after Navada and Rogan’s story line slowed down, that it wouldn’t continue as strong but these 2 have something great going. I loved every second. I can’t wait to see what’s next.

So sweet and just well done.

This book was a surprise. I thought it was very well done. I love the humor and sweetness of the book. I enjoyed every second. I wholeheartedly recommend “Call Me Maybe” if you feel like a break from life. It was really great.

Plagiarism! Spoiler Alert!

I stopped this book at least 10 times to check if it was a rerelease. Well either it was or it was a copycat. I have read or listened to a book so similar to this one that I can not help but pointing it out. The single mom of a daughter whose x uses the daughter in games, wanted the daughter to visit for summer then found out new young wife was pregnant and suddenly they to busy for her to visit and then drops child custody case. Even the fact that she did something terrible and it gets covered up at end of book. It’s so similar I went through my books to see which author she copied. I can’t find it yet but I will. I will post it as soon as I come across the books.

Bought first in series for my husband but...

I love this series. I bought first book for my husband but I was drawn in by great story, great narrator, and great kicking butt characters. I love “The Gray Man” series and this book has the same “we need heroes” feel. I would recommend this book who is entertained by a little violence to get the job done. Or a lot....

100% Nora Roberts

Loved loved loved this book. For the few who said that they don’t believe Nora Roberts wrote this book y’all need to listen/read some of her early books. The O’Hurleys series, Irish Heart Series, or The MacGregors all were books that I found myself thinking of while I read this one. This author has a way with descriptions and fleshing out her characters that I miss with other authors. When I start a Nora Roberts book I always start thinking that it can’t be as good as her other books but I’m always proven wrong. This author is one of my “I’m going to buy it no matter what other reviews say”. Thanks for another great book.
