Historia
In the year AD 3000, Earth is a dystopian wasteland, plundered of its natural resources by alien conquerors known as Psychlos. Fewer than 35,000 humans survive in a handful of communities scattered across the face of a post-apocalyptic Earth. From the ashes of humanity rises a young hero, Jonnie Goodboy Tyler. Setting off on an initial quest to discover a hidden evil, Jonnie unlocks the mystery of humanity’s demise and unearths a crucial weakness in their oppressors.

Great story, poor production
Revisado: 06-29-16
What did you love best about Battlefield Earth?
I love the story itself. i first read it when I was 14.
What three words best describe the narrators’s performance?
Cannot think of three words for his performance, but I enjoyed it.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Not made by John Travolta.
Any additional comments?
Everything about the book and performance was great. My only negative, and reason for 3 stars on performance, is the production. It is very hard to get into an audiobook when each chapter has a musical interlude and notification of part and chapter when the chapters are as short as in this book. I prefer a seamless narration. Probably could have cut the book down by 3 hours without the "breaks".

Historia
Crossover is the first novel in a series which follows the adventures of Cassandra Kresnov, an artificial person, or android, created by the League, one side of an interstellar war against the more powerful, conservative Federation. Cassandra is an experimental design - more intelligent, more creative, and far more dangerous than any that have preceded her. But with her intellect come questions, and a moral awakening. She deserts the League and heads incognito into the space of her former enemy, the Federation, in search of a new life.

What did you like best about Crossover? What did you like least?
The idea was good for a story. The execution was not so much. Spent too much time in the thoughts and too little in action. Seemed 2/3rds was spent in the minds of the characters. The series might become better now that the introductions are done, but I am not interested in finding out.
Was Crossover worth the listening time?
Not really, I spent more time surfing the web than listening as it frankly bored me.
