Love this story, but…
Revisado: 01-14-24
The story, character and world building are all fantastic. And the narrator is great. My only gripe is that I really miss the dual narration. Ada Sinclair is very good, but the story loses something without the male voice. Maybe I’m spoiled by Wrath of the Fae, but I loved the added depth from two narrators.

AAAAHHHHHH-mazing!
Revisado: 08-21-23
A friend of mine turned me on to this series. He got it from another friend. I introduced it to my husband, and three other friends. We’re all bomb techs, and we’re all obsessed with these books. Carl sounds like one of us, and Donut is my spirit animal. This series is phenomenal! My husband and I have been listening to the audiobooks as we travel and got through the first three. But we’ve had a break in traveling and I couldn’t wait to finish. I binged it over the last four days while cleaning, working, in the gym, and playing video games. The performance is *chefs kiss* and adds a whole new level, and has raised the bar for me in terms of storytelling. This book (and series) is absolutely worth your credit.

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Awesome Story; Perfect Narration
Revisado: 03-22-23
This was a great Sci-Fi story! I can’t speak highly enough about it or Ray Porters reading of it. There were only a couple audio discrepancies and were purely technical issues, nothing to do with the narration. I’m writing this at 4am because I just finished the audiobook because I couldn’t stop listening to it. The story had me fully invested. Seriously, I laughed out loud, and even cried during this adventure. It was so well thought out and detailed. Absolutely worth the credit!

Ever wondered what Bones was thinking and feeling, when he and half-vampire Cat Crawfield first met? Or how their story might differ if he were the one telling it? Now, relive the beginning of Cat and Bones' best-selling love story through Bones' point of view, which reveals a darker, sexier take on their early days, as well as a deeper dive into Bones' past, the vampire world, and other things that Cat didn't see, when their story was told only through her eyes in Halfway to the Grave. Cat had her say. Now, it's Bones' turn.

From the other POV
Revisado: 05-15-22
I listened to the original and, it was good, but this was better. I enjoyed the original, really, but Cat drove me up the wall at times with her immaturity and bigotry. But I also loved her strength and sarcasm. But I adored Bones as a character. I didn’t even realize I was curious about his POV until I saw this book was coming out because I felt like I understood him well enough. I was wrong. This story was even better having both sides. And it’s given a massive boon by being narrated by Will M. Watt. He’s such a fantastic story teller. I genuinely wish they’d do a dual narration style for these books because he and Tania Gilbert bring so much life into Bones and Cat. I really hope they continue with Bones’ POV in audiobook form. If you like urban fantasy romance with action, sarcasm, and heat, you’ll like this. Worth the credit.

A little predictable, but fun
Revisado: 04-22-22
It’s a good little series, if a bit predictable. The female leads are strong without being whiny jerks. The males are dominant without being dicks. The stories are fast paced, sexy, and flow pretty well. A great blend of worlds. The concept was unique and not overly repetitive. The narrators did a fantastic job, really brought the characters to life. Definitely worth the credit for the box set.
