Historia
As the owner of The Wicked Horse, an elite sex club located along the Vegas Strip, I never spend the night alone. I don’t grant favors and will rarely give you the time of day - unless I want you in my bed. So when the sister of my sworn enemy shows up asking for help, saying “no” should be easy. But all I see is the opportunity to help this beautiful woman while exacting revenge on her brother, and I am not about to pass that up.

Historia
London, 2019. Life has been easy for Maxim Trevelyan. With his good looks, aristocratic connections, and money, he’s never had to work, and he’s rarely slept alone. But all that changes when tragedy strikes and Maxim inherits his family’s noble title, wealth, and estates, and all the responsibility that entails. It’s a role he’s not prepared for and one that he struggles to face. But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who’s recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past.

It's hard to beat Fifty Shades
Revisado: 09-15-21
The story was good, yet predictable. The narration was great and fit the characters. There were too many filler sections with non-pertinent or repetitive words and phrases. Some aspects of the story did not make sense to me in regards to emotions and perceptions of the characters. Overall a decent read.

Say what!?! That ending though...
Revisado: 03-21-21
Great read, but I didn't like the way it would sound like one narrator suddenly switched to a different one and then back in themiddle of a scene. Almost like the main narrator couldn't speak about anything racy or steamy.
That ending though...it is unbelievable!

One of my favorite Reacher novels so far!
Revisado: 02-20-21
I loved this storyline. Jack Reacher reunites with his comrades. The only thing I would say I wished would have been different is for us to finally discover what keeps Nagley from opening up. Reacher seems to know she loves him, but continually chooses other women.
I liked that Reacher sought help from his buddies instead of knowing all of the answers.

Historia
Two lonely towns in Colorado: Hope and Despair. Between them, 12 miles of empty road. Jack Reacher never turns back. It's not in his nature. All he wants is a cup of coffee. What he gets is big trouble. So in Lee Child’s electrifying new novel, Reacher - a man with no fear, no illusions, and nothing to lose - goes to war against a town that not only wants him gone, it wants him dead. It wasn’t the welcome Reacher expected. He was just passing through, minding his own business. But within minutes of his arrival a deputy is in the hospital and Reacher is back in Hope.

Story is farfetched and unlike Jack Reacher
Revisado: 02-20-21
I struggled to make it through this book. The idea for the storyline could have been good, but this book fell way short. There were soany unknowns and the "know-it-all" Reacher knew it all without revealing anything until the reader was so lost. There are so many different things in this book and the author struggled to connect them.
The love interest was so caught up in her husband, yet she gave herself willingly to Reacher and he just didn't care...he has more of a heart than that.
The bad guy was a really old guy, who did things that he couldn't possibly have done at his age, he had goons for that. There was never an explanation of the townspeople involvement. Too many unanswered questions.
That being said, Dick Hill is an awesome narrator and is the only reason I made it through this book!

Loved the narrator and storyline was awesome! Two different killers keep Cross engaging. If I had to say one thing I wish would have been different, I would say I wish some of the characters would have been a little more developed and understood. It's possible their story is still yet to come...

Worth the read!
Revisado: 01-20-21
I almost did not purchase this book from the negative remarks about Taye Diggs as the narrator. I think he was wonderful and gave Alex Cross his voice. Narratorz are supposed to speak with pauses (for effect!) and slowly for comprehension. Taye Diggs just happens to have a sexy voice to boot ;)
I recommend the read!

Narrator creates new voices
Revisado: 08-04-20
I think Frank Muller is probably fabulous in all other readings, however, with listening to Richard Ferrone for the past 7 books, this was unexpected and horrible. I hated all of the voices and mispronounced Zion Ben Judah. I see he narrates the next book as well, but will still purchase.

Excellent! Concepts presented in real-time
Revisado: 03-12-20
One of the best books I've listened to! The narrator provides an exceptional performance. Unlike some self-development audio books where the voices are monotone, the narrative is filled with emotion and voice inflection that gives the sense you are talking to a friend.
The concepts in this book are perfect for applying to work and home life! I enjoyed hearing about all of the research Mr. Coyle put into this book. I especially enjoyed the piece on the San Antonio Spurs. I am not a sports fan and I wanted to watch the next game just to see the performance of the Coach and his players!
I loved this book so much that I ordered the hard copy to reference at my workplace and I intend on integrating the concepts into my daily life.
