Not what I was expecting!

This was my first “thriller” trope. I read the reviews and was a little leary about listening but was surprised because of the twist at the end. The ending did feel inorganic..like it was rushed because it needed a suspenseful ending. I pictured everyone else at the culprit except the MMC…although he was creepy. The twist was very unexpected. It’s always the one you least expect!

Jason, Connor and Troy….OH MY!!!!!

I loved everything about this book! There were some laugh out loud moments and a lot of steamy ones. Jason Clarke, Troy Duran and Connor Craig’s are some of my favorites. I’ve listened to Samantha Brentmoor before on other books, and I wasn’t initially a fan. But her narration in this book was great. I love the fact that it ended with a HEA with them getting what they wanted. The pace was great! This definitely was not a slow burn. If you’re looking for comedy, and a lot of spice, this book is worth the credit!!

This is what I kept saying to myself through this entire book. This was a perfect ending to the series!!! I loved the growth of each character. I started to get irritated with the extra dialogue but I quickly realized it was important to the development of each character. McClain and Huss has never missed! This was great and I’ll be listening again and again just with their other series!

It's Not an Audiobook; It's an Experience

Although this isn’t my first LB book, this was my first introduction to a full cast of narrators. I loved every minute of it. It was like watching a play or a rom-com on Lifetime! The witty banter between Truly and Jason is so believable! I loved both of their story lines-the work-life balance is so relevant to today’s world. The supporting characters are awesome! Listening to this was like being a part of a large friend group that I’ve always wanted to be a part of. Discussing life issues, work issues, receiving great advice. What else can I say about this book other than I can’t wait to listen to her other books with a full cast! ❤️❤️❤️

This book was more than I expected. I felt every emotion, dread…all the fear Reece felt. The pain Maggie felt. I laughed…I was even in shock at times. It was a great love story. Zachary Webber was fantastic bringing Reece’s character to life. Andi Arndt was great in her depiction of Maggie. I love it!!!!
