This book is the reason why I check the Daily Deal
Revisado: 08-21-17
Would you consider the audio edition of The Heiress of Linn Hagh to be better than the print version?
No.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Heiress of Linn Hagh?
Since I do both, I appreciate each for different reasons. The plot is well constructed, complicated but easy to follow. This is a new author for me and narrator. I enjoyed them both and bought the next book.
What does Michael Page bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I like that he is the narrator for all the books. Authors that keep the same narrator add a different level to the to the story as George Guidall did with the Tony Hillerman's books.

Good story Bad narrator
Revisado: 03-03-17
I am sure the story would have been better if the narrator didn't sound like Dolly Parton or flat. I'm going to read it to make sure if I'm right because I do enjoy Delores Fossen's novels.

A major problem
Revisado: 12-08-15
I have struggled with self discipline all my life. I have to admit that there is a fat chance seeing me take a five minute cold shower and doing some of the other things he suggest, I do like many of the alternative suggestion that he gives to the point I will start them today. Who knows, I may just do that cold shower.

The button is back where it belongs
Revisado: 09-11-14
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
J. D. Robb (Nora Roberts) is back in form. The interplay is back between the characters
Also, she corrected the mistake from the last book about the button Roarke carries.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the Christmas season, the party, Eve buying presents, and Eve making a deal with Summerset to participate in creating the party.
What about Susan Ericksen’s performance did you like?
I don't know if I could listen to the In Death books with out her. She is the voice of them and is as important as Nora Roberts.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, I didn't but I kept coming back to it.

Historia
It was whispered all through London society that he was a murderer, that he'd spent his youth in an asylum and was not to be trusted - especially with a lady. Any woman caught in his presence was immediately ruined. Yet Beth found herself inexorably drawn to the Scottish lord whose hint of a brogue wrapped around her like silk and whose touch could draw her into a world of ecstasy.

I really like this book.
Revisado: 06-16-14
Would you listen to The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie again? Why?
I already have. Lord Ian Mackenzie is believe has Asperger autism which is what my nephew has and acts the same way about many things.
Which character – as performed by Angela Dawe – was your favorite?
I like Beth. From the moment she met Lord Ian Mackenzie, she didn't realize it but she was lost. Not only did he ask her to marry him within five minutes of meeting her, but her own body was willing to go with him. It Ian's brother hadn't entered the opera box, she would have probably done it.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When most of the McKenzie family is at the dinner table, Beth who had had her first riding lesson, commented that she needed a softer horse, Ian laughed, a warm, velvety sound. Everybody at the table, except for Beth was stunned. Nobody had ever heard Ian laugh before.

An Incredible Man
Revisado: 06-10-14
Where does Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It is in the top ten. It is an amazing history of a man we often ignore or down play.
Which scene was your favorite?
I had not realized that Genghis Khan completely restructured his society by going by what a man did and not into what family he was born in. He also outlawed the stealing of wives. I was amazed that only in his rule was there religious freedom as his army was made up of Muslims, Christians, Jews and other religions. You did not have to believe as Genghis Khan worshiped.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It made weeding go faster.
Any additional comments?
They say Alexander the Great was the greatest general who ever lived. I think the title goes to the undefeated Genghis Khan.

What would have made Come Away with Me better?
A plot
Would you ever listen to anything by Kristen Proby again?
I doubt it
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jennifer Mack?
Susan Sullivan
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
When it finished
Any additional comments?
When you are afraid of being mugged, you don't go through a dialog or check him out when you are in this situation. It doesn't make sense and I really don't need to know a list of everything they wear.
