Historia
The Martian meets Gravity when Army Pilot Vaughn Singleton, Earth’s last man, rushes to Area 51 in search of a spaceplane after he discovers the last woman is stranded on the International Space Station and barely alive - thus beginning a race against time. The event that wiped life from the planet started at the supercollider. It created a rift in space-time. The astronaut stranded aboard the space station, Commander Angela Brown, is a theoretical physicist who used to work at the collider.

Slightly above meh ...
Revisado: 04-21-25
Overall it's a good story but I think the author over used their thesaurus and the use of metaphors. With that in mind I think the story would of been 30 minutes shorter. I also think it had way to many Bruce Willis Die Hard moments. R.C. Bray was outstanding as usual but the female narrator had me dozing off at times. I don't believe I will be getting any further releases of this novel line

Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

Not the best of the series
Revisado: 09-07-24
got to say this was a let down I've been excited about the new one coming out and I feel like it was just kind of a flop. not to mention the use of certain adjectives and phrases over and over it's kind of irritating. Enough the damn hairy eyeball and the saying "that's a stretch."

Historia
For years, the ancient alien AI known as Skippy (the Magnificent, don’t forget that part) has been able to do one impossible thing after another. What is his secret? It’s simple: 100 percent Grade-A extreme awesomeness. And also because he had never been faced with an opponent of equal power. Until now. This time, he might need a little help from a band of filthy monkeys.

Continually going down hill
Revisado: 11-14-23
I really enjoyed these novels in the beginning but as they get farther in it just gets more ridiculous kind of like in fast and furious when they're jumping a car from building a building or flying a car up in the space when yesterday they were just punked drag racers. it's time for Joe Bishop to die or at least some of his crew because them always getting out of everything it's ridiculous. not sure if I will get the rest of these books.

Historia
The Merry Band of Pirates offered the bad guys a ceasefire. We won’t mess with them, if they don’t mess with us. Easy, right? No. The aliens chose to do things the hard way. So, the Pirates are racing around the galaxy to clean up the threat to Earth. The infant UN Navy has their own mission with the Alien Legion: Get humanity some allies in the fight. And the Ethics & Compliance Office might have to do something...ethical. Unless they can find a way around it.

More of the same..
Revisado: 09-13-23
I have enjoyed this series but it is seeming to be similar and repetitive to the previous novels. Also I've got to say the author is one of those guys that probably ruins a good joke by over telling it. Every time I hear the words "shmaybe" now it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. that and the other phrase " That's my story and I am sticking to it". Stop using the same thing over and over for goodness sake. Thanks greatly to RC Bray because I probably would have stopped listening to these books a while ago. Great save Mr Bray!

Army has Posts not Bases!
Revisado: 05-02-23
In all your stories you keep writing Army Bases The U.S. Army has posts not based, if you're going to write about something get it right. Otherwise change over to Marines, Navy or Air Force, they have bases!

Doom. Devastation. Death. Destruction. It seems that no matter what direction he looks, Clay Sanders can see little else. He has tried to maintain at least a small oasis of safety for the people closest to him, but that bubble is constantly threatened by those who want it for themselves, or else want to deny it to Clay and his family and friends, even though it belongs to them.

Good story but horrible narrator
Revisado: 01-16-23
I really enjoy his stories and I enjoy that the bad guys always lose but this book could definitely be shorter because it's way too much over description for example the beginning cleaning why Dale was getting in the shower unless it's for something other than watching the grime up you from the work day just really no reason to explain and explain him how he puts his pants back on etc. also I have to play the speed of the narrator up 15% more because he just talked to slow like he's out of breath and he needs to stop trying to add in sound effects. I wish Christopher Lane was near IDs like he did for odd Billy Todd

Historia
Clayton Sanders left home the minute he had his high school diploma in hand. He waited that long only because the Army wouldn't accept him without one. Now, 10 years later, he's home. Home with no warning, no advance notice, no anything after being gone 10 years with almost no contact with his family. Home carrying a secret that is burning him up from the inside.

Blah...
Revisado: 01-10-23
that's what would be 25% shorter if the author didn't they over explain everything and explain it multiple times also the narrator always sounds like he's out of breath and pauses too long and between sentences it gets to the point where it's getting very annoying listening to him I don't even think I'll probably buy the next books on audible I'll probably buy them and paperback and read them myself. also the stories all kind of end up the same good guys get ready bad guys come Good guys wipe them out, rinse and repeat. also the author needs to cut out the romance he's horrible at it. anytime of man or woman talks to each other everybody blushes

Historia
Having ended the threat of his father's oldest enemy and the group he controlled, Clayton Sanders believes he can finally put his feet up a bit and relax. Figuratively of course, since there is no relaxing on a farm and ranch. But some peace and quiet will be greatly appreciated and welcome. Too bad he won't get it. With the remainder of his old team on their way, Clay starts to think he might be able to breathe easier. Sure, they did say they were running from a big problem out west, but that's out west, right?

Needs Christopher Lane to Narrate
Revisado: 01-07-23
I enjoy the stories because the bad guys always lose and sometimes that's nice instead of being dragged along as the good guy gets pummeled over and over until the very end kind of like a Bruce Willis movie. The author tends to spend too much time certain events and tends to drag it along to the point where you want to fast forward to get by it and tends to also over describe situations that doesn't need it. the narrator was okay in the first book but as you go on he starts to become irritating to listen to and I really wish Christopher Lane would narrate these books like he did for the story "Odd Billy Todd" (which I recommend for anybody).

Historia
Roland Stang never intended to become the caretaker of 30 abandoned children. He was just looking for a place to get out of the rain. His plan was to lay low and allow the world to reset itself after a worldwide economic collapse. But things do change. An orphan himself from an early age, the former soldier can't simply walk away and leave the children he finds. Leading a handful of teens and a busload of orphaned children, Roland sets out to find a safe haven for them. Along the way, he'll make friends, enemies, and the odd mistake or two. Or more.

Historia
As the ash and chaos from Mount Rainier’s eruption swirled and finally settled, the story of the Greenloop massacre has passed unnoticed, unexamined...until now. The journals of resident Kate Holland, recovered from the town’s bloody wreckage, capture a tale too harrowing - and too earth-shattering in its implications - to be forgotten. In this audiobook, Max Brooks brings Kate’s extraordinary account to light for the first time, faithfully reproducing her words alongside his own extensive investigations into the massacre and the legendary beasts behind it.
