At first I thought the narrator's voice was annoying and didn't have enough inflection. Then I realized it was he was the perfect narrator for Ned Sommers. He SOUNDED like an introverted high school kid going through several tough situations

Poor story line

I really like the narrator. I like the characters. I think Shawn Inman phoned this one in. It had too many loose ends that were never tied up or explained from the previous book. How did they get back to their home planet? The ending to this one also felt weak to me. I really like all the other books in the series...just felt that there was a disconnect after book 6.
