The amount of SJW crammed down our throat’s right out the gate is absolutely ridiculous. I am a black woman, we do not care that much that there are white people around us. The character H is absolutely ridiculous. All the characters in the story are under the age of 22. We know this, and we expect kids to behave as kids. But since the story said in the future, we’re supposed to believe that the belief of disproportionate racial tensions still exist, really?!. It’s amazing that someone would waste time making the only black lesbian character care so much that she’s black and gay and yet the Japanese character doesn’t have any racial issues. Because that’s how the world actually hits, currently right now in 2020. Z has just been written as an ignorant jerk. Which makes no sense considering all the struggles he went through in the first book in three years he’s just some nonchalant arrogant rich guy? Again, really? This book is very disappointing I’m about halfway through it currently and I am trying to finish but the story is so basic. The type of people the author is trying to appeal to would never read a book like this anyway. The fans of this series would be in their late 30s or 40s or 50s because we experienced the 70s and 80s. It’s a nostalgic story is a nostalgic book why are you pandering to the 20 somethings that know nothing about those references? I love the first book so much so that I didn’t watch the movie because I knew they destroyed the story. I will not be recommending the sequel to anyone I know. The dumbest parts are H going off on tangents when she knows they’re going to travel somewhere that has white people. If she studied her idols as much as the other main characters did she should not be surprised. The comment about middle earth being full of white people except for the dark skin orcs is disgusting. First of all token was Jewish! It is ridiculous to believe that brown people in the United States are the only ones who had to deal with segregate and prejudice. All you’ve done is turn this character into an extremely close minded left-wing prejudiced person. There’s no room for her to grow. And she honestly cannot live in this world in the oasis and just now be upset about traveling to planets that are predominantly white skinned. That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard and again completely lazy riding pandering to BLM & SJWs.

The near ration is fine although it kind of feels like Will is
just finding this winning

In the past 2 years I have grown to love David. And I find books narrated by the author, especially comedians, are essential. It's funny and witty and has a very pleasant ending.
